for instance why was i born in Canada or the united states and not some 3rd world country? why was i given a great chance to make something of myself in life, while others must struggle to survive the next hour? i am not complaining but it just seems extremely unfair. the point is why am i here and not over there. what did that person in the 3rd world do to deserve that? all man created equal eh?

MattA: that is extremely unfair. how can i be accountable for for somone elses sins. if my parents/grandparents sinned why should i suffer? why would God make ME suffer for their sins? thats stupid. i cannot control them, i was not even alive. that proves my point saying we are not all created equal and now your telling me becasue other family members sinned, i pay the price.

It's good you recognize how lucky you are . . . now, what are you going to do about it?

Dedicate your life to self pleasure, greed and waste, or look beyond your wants and help other people with their needs.

Why are you where you are? To help those people who aren't where you are.

Godspeed.

Well for one because someone has to be over there. Here's the thing: God has a plan for all of us no matter where we are or where we are born. sometimes things don't seem so fair, but remember each person is a blessing and to someone over there- maybe some loving family wanted a child very badly- and so a child was given. God is no respector of person you are no better than I; nor I better than you. Any one of us COULD have been born anywhere, but God know what's best for us and yes, while it may be hard for us to understand, we needn't try to understand everything about God and why he does what he does; it can become very complex. Take this example: a struggling family who really has no help has a son and he grows and rescues them- makes life better for the family. or simply bringing joy to a family no matter how hard the circumstances. Or just think, even though they may struggle, this could also make them such a strong willed individual and wise person. Was Mother Teresa born rich? and what condition was she raised? But nevertheless, look at her life. So this should make us all thankful and give us one more thing to thank God for. I know this doesn't fully answer your question, but I hope it helps you to understand that there are different reasons for the seasons and there is no pattern to why things are because sometimnes they just are. ~~Toni Fab

Is it such a curse to live in a 3rd world nation? For example, one can start an effort to improve conditions, thus achieving greatness as an individual in the process. And is being born in the US or Canada a blessing in every respect? No. However, the US is indeed the best nation in the world, with the greatest president! We have our share of problems like falling morality and the "rat race" type of life. Count your blessings Sir! Just remember that God has a specific place for everyone on this planet! Just make sure you make something of yourself! That doesn't mean you have to make a lot of money or anything like that, just be a good person. You sound like a nice person just by the fact that you asked this question! :-) Good luck and God bless!

all men ARE created equal-we ALL have the ability to choose Jesus. God may know, being all-knowing, that some people will never accept Christ so He puts them where He likes. God is the writer of the master plan, but He does know ultimately if our hearts will ever accept Him or not. Sometimes He decides enough is enough. Bottomline is He is the potter, we are the clay. The clay doesn't question the potter. Not to say we can't ponder things though. The world hasn't been fair since the Great Fall too. ADD:We don't inherit our ancestors sins, but they do affect us. Like David's sin w/ Bathsheba. He repented and was forgiven, but David was told ther would always be a sword dividing his house. And there was...for generations.

The way I take it from the Bible, we are born with the deck stacked against us. There is a point according to the Bible when someone is able to choose right from wrong, and I think that matters, but in all the lives of men, God chooses who He wants out of the world. Only those who He wants are given a chance to respond to Him.

There is a great time coming after the Great Tribulation where all people left on Earth will see Jesus. At that time, anyone who wants to will see him, and all doubt may be removed from their mind. But until then, Jesus remains where He is, and the world has the testimony of those who believe and the Holy Spirit who is in the world.

You are a result of your ancestors. If they chose to go and end up in a 3rd world country then that is where you are born. Don't always blame God for what man does. Sin entered the world because man disobeyed God , God did not do it. Use your head before you shoot off your mouth.

TIME will definately answer those thoughts...
Why were the leaves on a tree here, instead of the third world?
Judged by whom?
The world is definately not fair...but you can help to correct some things...
All men are not created equal, but are equal in death...
We do have limited control over our future...
The future is purchased by the the present.
Accept your station in life, your cross, bear it well enough, that you can take pride and satisfaction in your accomplishments!
We pass this way but once.

No.

It is just chance where you are born. You are only judged by those around you, when you die that is the end of your existence.

Unless you would like to show me some reasonable evidence to the contrary.

For those who insist on believing that there is an infinite all-powerful, all-knowing deity, then yes, absolutely. Look up the definition of all-knowing. God is all powerful, so he must have made you what you are and placed you where he wants, otherwise he is not all powerful. And he knows what you will do and how he will judge you after you die, otherwise he is not all-knowing.

And the same applies to the babies he gives to the AIDS victims, to be born with AIDS and to die early and painful deaths.

But remember, God love them, that's why he does it.

Since you are so blessed maybe you could go into those 3rd world countries and do some good. Like help, be their equal without some deity directing you.

Well, if you believe that your spirit was formed before you were born, then I believe the answer to your question would basically be because you were more fortunate based on the choices you made as a spirit before birth.
If you dont believe in the idea that you were a spirit before birth, then your only conclusion would be random luck.

Sin is carried three to four generations. So it is unfair for people born in third world countries, but their ancestors (which are descendants of Noah) decided not to follow God. Our ancestors did. So we benefit from those decisions while they suffer.
