The Bible clearly states in both Old and New Testaments that homosexual behavior is a sin. God created and blesses monogamous marital sex. It is the most productive and joyful kind of sex, meant to bless a marriage. God emphatically hates homosexual practices and yet He loves every homosexual who has ever lived!!! I do not say a person cannot be homosexual and yet be a believer. However, if he is a Christian he will eventually have to deal with a sense of conflict because he is disobeying the word of God if he continues to practice homosexuality. Only he/she and God can settle this issue out, between them.
I have one friend who was able to go beyond the lifestyle when he became a Christian, not that it was easy for him. He was molested by his uncle as a small boy and it was the only kind of "love" he received so it affected him deeply. He came out of the life and eventually married and it still married 6 years later.

I had a very dear friend who was a homosexual. He dearly loved my sister and she him, but left her to pursue a homosexual lifestyle. This choice got him killed. He contracted aids long before there were effective treatments for the symptoms. He died far too young.
That said, God does not arbitrarily dictate this to be a sin or that to be a sin. He has very clear reasoning behind all the behaviors he names to be sin. Homosexual activity is one of those sins.
It is the act of homosexuality that is a sin, just as the act of murder is a sin or the act of adultery. The person is a sinner.
Any person is forgivable if the person repents of his sins and turns to God, through the blood of Jesus Christ, for the forgiveness of their sins. The particular sins do not matter for everyone is a sinner. Sin causes us to fall short of perfection.
Only God can restore that perfection.

I used to have a very closed-minded Catholic mentality and although I think there are some cases in which homosexuality is more a behavioral or learned attitude than a genetic one (As in the case of persons who suffer sexual abuse from the opposite sex and thus become so enraged with the opposite sex that they trust only their sex and thus become homosexuals), I believe people should be granted the means to be happy according to their own sexual preferences.

We are all born with innate tendencies, many of which are less than perfection.
For instance, someone may be born with a choleric disposition. Others, including myself, may be born with a lustful disposition. In my opinion, homosexuality is such a disposition.
As humans, if we want to approach perfection, we ought to fight our innate deficiencies.
If I obeyed my lustful desires, I would be banging every damn chick that makes a pass at me, and would have balled other girls ten times over while going out with my long-time girlfriend. But I did not obey these lustful feelings, I rejected them as sin.
Gays don't fight against their sinful nature.
Does that doom them for hell? I'm not sure. Homosexuality seems to be one of the most difficult dispositions to fight against. Perhaps God is more merciful in their case, so long, I assume, that the gay recognizes their sin.

"In the Name of God, Most Gracious, Most Merciful"
God created everything in pairs. Even before He has created man. The universe. Night, Day. Heaven, Earth. Male, Female. Even man was made from two-mud and God's spirit. Which is body and soul. And You cannot have one without the other. The Koran repeatedly affirms that all things are signs of God, which is to say that everything gives news of God’s nature and reality. It is up to man to choose where to go, towards mud or providence. And as long as he has not selected either of the poles as his fate, struggle will perpetually rage within him.
Man's Creation from the Islamic Viewpoint
In the beginning the Lord addresses all the angels: "I want to create a vicegerent on earth," (Pay attention to the worth of man in Islam. Even the Post-Renaissance European humanism has not been able to bestow such an exalting sanctity upon man.). God, being the greatest and most exalting from a faithful Muslim point of view, addresses the angels to introduce His vicegerent. Thus, with this providential address the mission of man on earth is clarified. That is, man's mission on earth is to fulfill God's creative work in the universe. Therefore, man's first superiority is that he represents God on earth. The angels objected, "Do you want to create a revengeful and vindictive creature to commit crime and bloodshed on earth again?" But God responds, "I know something you know not." And so, God became engaged in creating man. And this is the point which symbols, loaded with profound anthropological connotations, come into being. Since God wants to create a vicegerent for Himself on earth, He must, as a rule, choose the most valuable and sacred material. Yet He selects the basest matter. In the Qur'an there are three references relative to the material that man was made of: from a sounding clay, like unto pottery, and from mud. Finally, the Lord breathed His spirit into the dry mud and man came into being. Eve was created simutaneously with Adam making woman the same nature as man. Every human is a brother or sister to each other. For the Arabic word for "rib" has been translated as "nature" . When saying, Eve was formed of Adam's "rib". The correct arabic translation is "nature." So, the two dimensional aspect here would be: Man, woman.
In the human tongue God is the most sacred and exalted being, while mud stands as a symbol of the meanest and the basest thing.
And the spirit of God is the most sacred, exalting, and the noblest "part" of His being. Accordingly, in creating man, God did not use His "breath, "blood," or "flesh"; rather He blew His own Soul into man. God is the most sublime being and His spirit is the finest entity for which man can possibly have an epithet in his language. Thus, man who was formed from mud and God's spirit is a two-dimensional being. For unlike all other beings which are one dimensional, man is two-dimensional; one dimension tends towards mud, lowliness, sedimentation, and stagnation while the other aspires to the loftiest imaginable point possible. So man is composed of two contradictions-mud and God's spirit. Thus man's significance and grandeur lie in the fact that he possesses two poles (mud and the spirit of the Lord).

Some people struggle with same-sex attraction, but being attracted to the same sex is not considered a sin. Acting on that attraction, and participating in homosexual behavior, however, does constitute sin. We all have our own struggles in one form or another that we need to overcome. In my church, there are several gay/lesbian believers in good standing; they resist the temptation to participate in homosexual activity.

Homosexuality along with all other kinds of sexual sins including lust, pornography, fornication (sex outside of marriage), murder, rage, envy, strife, etc. are all natural for the sinful nature of humanity, but as a Christian we are not of the sinful nature but have been reborn. This is often talked about in Paul's writings especially to the believers at Corinth...he even went so far as to say that some of the believers in the church at Corinth were in fact people who were once steeped in homosexuality. The New Testament is clear in that once we come to Christ we are to strive to live Godly lives...does this automatically change the fact that we have fleshly cravings, no...but it does implore us to follow the Spirit and not the flesh...The spirit is willing, but the flesh is weakened by sin...can homosexuals be Christians, yes, but to say that homosexuality just like any other sexual sin including heterosexual sexual sin as being ordained of God is completely contrary to the teachings of the Bible. God is a gracious and compassionate God...that is why 1 John was written to believers who find themself in sin...acknowledge that what we have done is contrary to God's perfect will and he will work towards removing our moral defects. God loves all people regardless of their choice of bedmates, but that does not mean he approves of the behavior or any impure/unbiblical thoughts.

I personally have no quells with it. While not homosexual myself I see it as a choice or preference of an individual.
Human sexuality is unique with our fetishisms, lust, enjoyment, and reasons. Sex for humans has stopped being solely for
procreation purposes and has become recreational as well long ago.
"Setting the mood", Oral sex, candles, leather, smoking, feet, nurse outfits, massage oil, dirty talk, sweet nothings; these are just a few things that are unique to human sexuality and sensuality. I see homosexuality as on in the same.

friend,
I do not hate any who are gay or otherwise. It is purely their personal thing and if the find it OK let them have their way.It does not matter to me and that will never be a reason to see them as strangers.
But in my opinion, as you asked it, i personally think that God has created males and females separately.we have been blessed with sensory organs like Eyes ,Nose, ears etc.
Each has a definite defined function and duty or nature.
You can not taste any thing with your ear or nose. You can not smell with mouth or ear or hand. You can not see with nose.
similarly the reproductive organs are created with their natural powers.A man can never conceive.A woman can never make another woman pregnant. The natural duties or nature of these organs are specific. If you go otherwise, or use it differently it is against nature. It will not give that bliss as one has when the organs are used naturally.
THIS IS PURELY MY PERSONAL OPINION as you asked it specifically.
It does NOT MEAN I HATE THOSE PEOPLE.IT IS THEIR LIFE AND THEY HAVE FREEDOM TO DO AND ENJOY THE WAY THEY WANT TO.I LIKE THEM AS I LIKE OTHERS.
