Whether your hair is just "damaged" with split ends or it's literally "fried", you need to cut it. You cannot bring a dead person back to life, whereas you cannot bring a dead piece of hair back to life.
Cutting it for healthy hair to grow out is a good solution. If it's not fried, you can use leave-in conditioning treatments to soften your hair. Split ends should be cut either way.
Salons have the best leave-in treatments. So go there, show them your hair, and ask them what kind of stuff you should put in (leave-in conditioner, hot oil treatment, etc).
Good luck!

The best way to restore fried hair is to deep condition and stop processing it. If you bleach, lay off for a little bit. If you straighten/blow dry every day, find a way to wear it a few days a week that doesn't involve a straightener OR blow drier and when you do use them, use a product that will protect your hair. If you just lay off for a month or so you'll see results.

it's hard to restore fried hair completely. I would recommend trimming it first, and then go to product. hair serum works wonders, i like paul mitchell super skinny serum. it makes your ends look glossy, and the rest of the hair cuticle smooth and shiny. my favorite conditioner is one made by pantene. it is specifically for breaking/damaged hair. its called pantene restoratives for breakage and costs about 5 bucks a tube. use these products, do not heat style (blowdry, flat iron), and use a conditioning mask a couple times a week and your hair will be so much better.
I dyed my hair so much once that it fell out. these products saved my hair- no joke. also, you can make a home conditioning hair mask with avocado and olive oil to help moisturize fried hair.
hope I helped!

You can try store brand hot oil treatments or a do it yourself remedy...Try the V05 Hot Oil Treament, it's cheap and easy to use or Matrix Sleek.look smooth recovery treatment ($16.95). It repairs your hair from the inside out with one single dose - just leave on hair for a few minutes once a week. It'll work great on damaged, fried, and coarse hair. If you want to do it yourself at home apply a homemade egg and olive oil conditioner once a week for a month to help repair hair. To make one application, whisk one egg yolk with two tbsp. of olive oil in a bowl. Apply to hair, especially on the ends. Leave on for a few minutes and then rinse before shampooing. Also if you can find a shampoo infused with Vitamin E it will drastically improve the condition of your hair!

here's a tip, buy hair mayonnaise, it's in the African American hair product section, it works great!! also try mixing together pure virgin olive oil and honey, get in warm in the microwave for 15 seconds, put it on damp hair and wrap plastic wrap around your hair for an hour then wash it out with a good shampoo, try not to blow-dry your hair a lot or use hot irons, it's best to just let it air dry, it's also a good idea to have to ends trimmed if you have split ends, this way your hair won't break off as much when you brush it or pull it in a ponytail.. good luck..

do a mayo hair mask.it's great and cheap.Mayo is a great conditioner for dry hair. Depending on the length of your hair, apply approximately 1/2 cup of mayonnaise to your dry hair. Work into hair really well and then cover your hair with a plastic bag, allowing to set for about 15 minutes. Rinse thoroughly and then shampoo as usual.

Good healthy hair starts with good internal health. Have you ever noticed people that look really healthy have nice shiny full heads of hair? If I were you I would go into your local guru in wholistic medicine and see what natural supplement the can offer for robust hair growth. I’ve had success with a product called Provillus also.

u can go a salon and ask them to do a restorive treatment in your hair. i did this in my hair bc my hair was really fried and it worked. it gave my hair shine and got rid of my split ends. it costs about $15.00 to get done....but its well worth the money. and also if ur hair is really fried then i suggest trimming like an inch or two and then getting the treatment done.

If it's so damaged and overprocessed, you might just have to clipper it all off and start over.
I know the thought of cutting it all off is scary, but it might be necessary to do so simply because you can start fresh on growing it back nice and healthy.
Look at it this way; at least your "getting ready" time in the morning will be cut in half for a while.
Good luck!
