"Have you forgotten who you are? How to fly? How to fight? How to crow?" Have you lost your marbles? It only takes one happy thought to cause a chain reaction. Before you know it you find your self in that place. That place between The Dream and Awake is where you are truly loved.

Sometimes in life we are pushed, shoved, even happily take the trails before us. We skip along like one without purpose. But then something happens. It changes whom we are and has a great affect on whom we will become. It is heavy- oh so heavy. ( If you were to change your own past, it would damage the person you have become or will become ) It is seen that through out time,,,What we have to deal with and over come. ( From the first momment - Ugg realises that by clubbing the other guy over the head, he can now get more of what he needs. ) Now that is a long line of history. The only difference, is that we have fine tuned things alot more.
At the HAND OF GOD site, ( It teaches you that no one is above the other, no religion will get to stand in the front nor cut into the line, WE will all be treated the same! ) Now I have loved to sin, I was good at it too! Then one day something happened which changed my life forever. Now I still drink, have my favorite bad words, I even love the taste of a the female- more so than most.
But what I learned there. Was I have purpose. I was given something much more than I ever wanted to hold or carry. I know that what I have done, what I have learned, How I have weighed it myself ( justified my actions ) Will be acted apon - no less or no more, because of whom I am, nor the next fellow.
I want to go home. I am sure many of you miss home too.
Now how can you get your wings back? To ask this, one must go where the answer can be found. Not at the store, not at a church, not in a book.
When you find this place, look into the heart of whom you are, ask from there, It will be answered. Sometimes it comes slow, so be patient.
Most times people have all the answers around them. They just didn't see them. ( Ever here: I should have known. I shouldn't have beeen so blind. How come I didn't see it? ) The answers are there, we know they are. But what happens?

I am involved in something grand. I often ask- Why me?

Your wings are still there, you haven't lost them. Find some peace my friend. Do what you can to find it. An what you can't do- don't worry over it, it will find you.

Take care

I guess you won't like my answer.

You never had the wings, thus it's not the question of how to get them back. If you had wings before, then how come you don't manifest with them on now? Look at a bird, it has wings. If one has a personality, if one does react in conditoned ways - at any time in one's life upto now - then the reality is that one's personal evolutionary challenge is 'in this spot'. You can't skip or hop into another form, or evolve, until you go beyond the current one. I speak also to those people, who have memories before coming to earth, who think they come here as being born aware, as angels from other planets, or as aliens sent from other planets to help. If you were truly like that, then you would not have the body of a human with a personality. If you had more capabilites, the reality is you would be here, but in another kind of form, probably in another dimension, undetectable by the current capabilities of sensory apparatus of current humans. To get to another point, I think it's most practical to accept one's current reality, and deal with it - here, on earth, as it is.

I think the question for you should be: How to get my wings?

You get your wings by transforming the energy of your current structure into a new structure, while you are alive. Basically this is metamorphosis. The current structure is the one of personality in the human form. The structure of personality was grown by you, to be able to recognize your innate awareness. Once you've recognized yourself in the reflection, then you use the reflection to dissolve the reflection.

The way to break it down is to withdraw energy from 'being the personality'. This is done by withdrawing energy away from the reaction of the personality (the thinking and feeling one.). Every time you do this, every second counts, you will change your structure. The energy withdrawn from being 'that old stucture', is used to build up something new. Thus is is with all freed energy. You see, it's nothing you have to think about, there is no technique nor path you have to follow, it's only about being in the state of 'truly aware'. You know, a meditative state. The more you do this, the more you will grow. The growing happens, little by little, because you are a living form, it's an in-place transformation. The wings will be there, when the old structure is completely gone. But don't worry, if you don't get your wings this time around, you will come back to earth again, with all the awareness you gained this time around. It's never like starting at the beginning all over again, everything you gain non-materially is permament and becomes the building block for the next cycle.

...Edit ... sorry I had to change my answer. lol got a flash of inspiration.

Since a bird without wings is earth-bound, bound and limited to a surface dweller, this signifies a fall and by such a fall a imbued limitation. I would not say that your wings ever left you, but rather since a injury is a result of a fracture, your wings have become fractured, thus fragmented, divided in regards its bones which in such a condition compromises its wholeness. The way you get your wings back is by rectifying the segments into a harmonious whole again. In doing so, your wings capacity will have become stronger, and more durable by reason of such a damaging fall, also the very desire to return to that state which is origin your True Nature of Expression will be hat much more alive.

Where as before you glided the skies in ignorance, but now having had the experiential knowledge that was provided through the fall which fractured, fragmented your wings so you could not fly, you have been acquainted with interaction with the earth, you have dwelt among flowers, minerals, and the lower animals. So now when you fly you will have been perfected through your experiences, now knowing what you had loss and having gained more than what you started out with, having interacted directly with that which you viewed from above, becoming harmonious with those kingdoms/natures at their level.

Why did you lose your wings? If you depend on what is outside of you for definition you shall lose more than just your wings. My answers are within me. If I am given the job as your definer, I might get so used to giving you your very will and ideal that I might desire and deserve your soul - wings and all. You know what I mean.

If it is an airman's wings, try the Aviation category.

If it is mystical wings, try good deeds, at least three once a day. Just have a look at the smiles and glitter in the eyes of those who receive 'em, and you'll feel the wings back in no time at all.

Cheers.

In the early days of the Meiji era there lived a well-known wrestler called O-nami, Great Waves.

O-nami was immensly strong and knew the art of wresting. In his private bouts he defeated even his teacher, but in public was so bashful that his own pupils threw him.

O-nami felt he should go to a Zen master for help. Hakuju, a wandering teacher, was stopping in a little temple nearby, so O-nami went to see him and told him of his great trouble.

"Great Waves is your name," the teacher advised, "so stay in this temple tonight. Imagine that you are those billows. You are no longer a wrestler who is afraid. You are those huge waves sweeping everything before them, swallowing all in their path. Do this and you will be the greatest wrestler in the land."

The teacher retired. O-nami sat in meditation trying to imagine himself as waves. He thought of many different things. Then gradualy he turned more and more to the feeling of waves. As the night advanced the waves became larger and larger. They swept away the flowers in their vases. Even the Buddha in the shrine was inundated. Before dawn the temple was nothing but the ebb and flow of an immense sea.

In the morning the teacher found O-nami meditating, a faint smile on his face. He patted the wrestler's shoulder. "Now nothing can disturb you," he said. "You are those waves. You will sweep everything before you."

The same day O-nami entered the wrestling contests and won. After that, no one in Japan was able to defeat him.

Sunman,
Your wings will always be with you.
They are part of your Spiritual Being.
You are God's child and his messenger,
Who helps us understand exactly what
our purpose is in finding the true meaning
of religious truth; divinity.
Godspeed Sunman.

You remember the *Gospel of the Sacred Mud Puddle*.
Where Heaven and Earth meet,
Angels looking out of dirt covered faces,
the mud between your toes,
laughing with the joy of life,
it's amazing simplicity being in the body,
the wings can be found on the snake,
crawling on the hard rocks,
we remove the old,
I wonder how many will understand.

Where did they go Sunman.......why do you say "back"? Are you sad, my friend? Wings belong to angels like us and merely fold down when we are not in full flight. Where is your heart right now? I will fly by and pick you up, and we may fly together until you are ready to soar alone again.
