First Amendment is important because it protected the people to have freedom of speech and expression disallowing government interference. Likewise, no law will be passed favoring a religion because people will be allowed to choose their own religion.

They are all important. They are not ranked by importance but by order of adoption (and the 1st 10 were all together in that regard)

The First Amendment is the most important because it allows us to have our most basic freedoms and beliefs without them being encroached upon.
