The answer is a very definite YES... what saith the scriptures?

Luke 16:19-31
19 There was a certain rich man, which was clothed in purple and fine linen, and fared sumptuously every day:
20 And there was a certain beggar named Lazarus, which was laid at his gate, full of sores,
21 And desiring to be fed with the crumbs which fell from the rich man's table: moreover the dogs came and licked his sores.
22 And it came to pass, that the beggar died, and was carried by the angels into Abraham's bosom: the rich man also died, and was buried;
23 And in hell he lift up his eyes, being in torments, and seeth Abraham afar off, and Lazarus in his bosom.
24 And he cried and said, Father Abraham, have mercy on me, and send Lazarus, that he may dip the tip of his finger in water, and cool my tongue; for I am tormented in this flame.
25 But Abraham said, Son, remember that thou in thy lifetime receivedst thy good things, and likewise Lazarus evil things: but now he is comforted, and thou art tormented.
26 And beside all this, between us and you there is a great gulf fixed: so that they which would pass from hence to you cannot; neither can they pass to us, that would come from thence.
27 Then he said, I pray thee therefore, father, that thou wouldest send him to my father's house:
28 For I have five brethren; that he may testify unto them, lest they also come into this place of torment.
29 Abraham saith unto him, They have Moses and the prophets; let them hear them.
30 And he said, Nay, father Abraham: but if one went unto them from the dead, they will repent.
31 And he said unto him, If they hear not Moses and the prophets, neither will they be persuaded, though one rose from the dead.

Grace and Peace!
Jim

"but the sons of the kingdom will be cast out into the outer darkness; in that place there will be weeping and gnashing of teeth." Matthew 8:12

Remember, it is the poor soul that is within each of us that will stand judgment.
The saddened soul is well aware of God since the Almighty created it.

The judgment following man's death we call the Particular Judgment.
The General judgment at the end of time simply solemnly confirms the particular judgments of each one, with the difference that the body as well as the soul will receive what is due it.

You do understand that us "unbelievers" don't believe there will be a Biblical judgement, right?

Yes, if I die and show up at the pearly gates, I'm of course going to think "Shucks, got that one wrong." And then I'll take my punishment like a grown up. But seriously, I'm not expecting this to happen. That's all a part of the "unbeliever" thing.

They WON"T have another chance, it's now or never. So I would suggest that they all repent and be saved. Jehovah God is Our Creator and Jesus, the only begotten son of Jehovah, is Our Savior. And the Bible is the Truth. Jehovah don't Lie. God Bless

Yes. Holy Quran says people will repent and request to be sent back so that they could perform better. But their request would be declined and they will be thrown in hell. Becuase we
are given life only once and it is upto us how we live it. Having done that, we lose the only opportunity to earn wages of paradise.

Oh yes, but it will be too late. God says that one day all will bow and call Him Lord, but for many it will be too late. Even the trees will bow. Once must know the Lord before they die or He comes to take us home, whichever is first.
But, God says that one day, ALL WILL KNOW ANd bow and call Him LORD.
Lets pray they do it in time. What a horrible consequence to pay for open rebellion against God to realize you chose hell for yourself. God never choses that for us, it is we who deciede our destiny by the choices we make.
God bless you for the question..

Yes, they will be very scared. They would be begging for their life. The Bible says God is patient and loving. But at the judgement, unbelievers will be in the hands of an angry God. That would be terrifying.

Wow... Las Julius, up there, certainly has a convenient way of arguing for the existence of God.

Apparently you can go through your entire life, having never seen an ounce of evidence or proof... and then 2 seconds (I don't know MAYBE 3) after dying, He could reveal Himself to you, and make you choose your destiny.

Hell... I'm not worried at all now. Who needs to waste all that time believing when we could get a second chance after we die... and spend our lives living.

I bet the people who've devoted their entire lives to living God's Word are pissed. Everyone else gets a free ticket to sin and have premarital sex... and then all is forgiven if only you choose the right path AFTER you've died.

Way to go God.

I'll just continue to devote my life to LIFE, and worry about it after the fact... how's that sound? Las Julius says it sounds like a plan.

I fully expect they will. After the judgement is passed, regret will probably account for much of the wailing and gnashing of teeth. Remember the story of the rich man in hell, how he begged for a simple drink of water, and then to be allowed to go and warn his family of the truth?

Absolutely ! Every last one of them. Because they will see Jesus as He is,and know then what they missed.
They will also be aware of their fate.
