Seriously, if you say you will never change your mind in even in the face of obvious logical fallacies and lack of evidence supporting your beliefs: Should you just wear a sign on your chest proclaiming "I am an idiot?"

Some people think too highly of their arguments and feel that if you dont change your position because of them then you are an idiot. Many people try to state "obvious logical fallacies" and they are anything but that.
I think some people think too highly of their debating skills.

In a way. We have no idea where we will be (as individuals) in 10, 20, 30 years. I"ve told my husband before that I can't ensure how I will feel about him in the future. LOL. I'm just being honest. Saying you know the future is a little dumb.

Emphatically suggesting that one saying "I will never change my mind" is the "most" ignorant thing one to do is equally unintelligent. Lack of evidence for a belief does not suggest the belief is unwarranted, just as the lack of disconfirming evidence doesn't suggest the belief is correct.

hmmm.... the way you state it, not sure how to answer it. Faith comes in all forms, from science, and evidence, to just simply faith. but as far as the beginning of your question goes, "Is saying that you will never change your mind the most ignorant thing you can do?" I would have to say yes, it's very ignorant to be self righteous, and all knowing. because the only one(s) that are all knowing is/are God(ess).

Depends on what I am saying I will never change my mind about. If comeone wants me to change my mind about paedophilia and say t is "ok" ..that is never gonna happen. ..if someone wants me to say murder is ok now .. that is never gonna happen.. if someone says.. hey ya want pizza? I would probably change my mind if I said yes first..because I prefer chinese.
Tony... it will help you if you would think about the questions you ask before you click the submit button. Just a hint.
