There is no slim PS3, Sony just barely got 65nm cell processors in the 40GB SKU, and should have 45nm cell processors and RSX's in all PS3 models by next year, though that's a long shot from a slim PS3, the PS3 is packed full of hardware.
The PS3 uses wireless motion sensing bluetooth controllers which can be charged through the PS3. It costs $50 for an extra controller, the PS3 comes with only one controller.

Haven't heard anything about a slimmed down PS3. There is a more compact PS2 that's going to be released in 2008.
The Sixaxis is wireless, and you only get 1 with the PS3.
It's cost you 50 bucks to get another controller, but I would hold off on it until the Dual Shock 3 comes out next year.

All of the PS3's come with Bluetooth Wireless Controllers.
The cost of the PS3 controllers made by Sony is $49.99.
The PS3 only comes with one wireless controller.
And I'm not sure about a slimmed PS3 console yet. I've heard about a silver PS3 console that will be avaliable in just Japan or some other country, but I haven't heard whether or not it will be slimmer.

Dude.... they had wireless controllers a long time ago, since it first came out.. The game system comes with 1 and it costs $49.99 for one. I am not sure if there is the slimmed down version, but if they do it would take about a year to come into the U.S.

It will probably reach the US market in one year. And future models will probably get cheaper and yet, better. That's why it's best to wait a while after a system comes out.

They did with the PS1 and PS2, I really don't see how they won't do it with this one.
