Depends on the extent of the relationship. Only you will know when the time is right and it is different for every person. The age difference thing depends on what the age is. Normally it doesn't matter. Just so that the age gap isn't astronomical. If you do decide to have sex....make sure you guys have more than a condom for protection as it could break. I am sure I don't have to tell you that :) Don't rush it though. When you have sex enter the relationship, it's like opening pandora's box...a lot more things become a factor in the relationship.

It doesn't matter what others think...a girl knows when she is ready to have sex and that, no matter what age she is, is when it should happen. I encourage waiting till marriage. And age difference matters to a point...if the girl is 14 and the guy is 30 that is nasty but if it is a 16 year old girl and an 18 year old guy that is ok in my opinion.

i don't think age matters as much as maturity, but then again, with age comes with maturity. some people think you should wait till your married or at least 20, while others are already having sex in middle and high school.
in my opinion, as long as you know and understand the consequences of having sex (the possibility of having a baby or getting an STD), the emotional side of sex (since girls usually have a more emotional feeling toward it), and protection (the use of condoms/the pill) then it's up to you and your full responsibility to engage in it. even though you may hear about these things about being careful a lot, its really important that you are careful. if you're (not necessarily you, but in general) too embarrassed to buy a condom, then you might not be mature enough to have sex. it would be a real disappointment to have a baby when you're not ready or contract an STD which is really unpleasant and will affect you for the rest of your life.
all in all, i don't think age really matters. when 2 people are really ready, mature and are educated about sex (which is usually at an older age) then its ok to have sex.

I think a girl should be at least 17 or 18. It does depend on her maturity level too, but really no younger than that. Even older would probably be better... the emotional aspect is quite huge, and I think it's important to be aware of the consequences (STDs, pregnancy, etc.), and under 18 just shouldn't have to worry about that kinda stuff. One year age diff isn't a biggie--I always think within a few yrs is fine if you're over 20. It's more the situation in life, like if one is in high school and one in university, or one is working and the other in school it's just hard to coordinate since you're at different places in your lives.

In law it matters a lot Serious jailtime for jailbate, destruction of life options and life oppotunities...and until your in your mid to late 20's a girls chemicals are even more out of wack then usual causing you to make some seriously emotional mistakes some times. When your brain can make a conscious choice between sex as love or sex as lust and performing safe sex ie. with a condom and well taking birth control pills. Then perhaps you are ready to have sex. Be prepaired don't be a fool ... or be a fool and accept the consequences. Children, Jail, and waisted chances just for a little sex...its worth waiting for with a special person who won't go to jail for their actions.

Right after marriage. I'm not God so maybe if it were up to me I'd have to say 28 is the perfect age but it's still a sin.
Premarital sex can ruin your life. Also use the time between now a then to get an education.

My personal convictions about having sex is to wait until marriage.
I believe that a girl and boy born the same year are well matched. Also 2 yrs. older or younger is very good. And 4 yrs. older or younger is even better. Beyond that is iffy, and not near as good. Expect a breakdown or failure in the relshp..... or very tough times to say the least.

Girls shouldn't be having sex. This is an adult behavior between two loving adult partners who can understand all the ramifications of this type of a relationship. Only when one is a adult woman does she have the maturity of understanding and dealing with this type of relationship.

The age difference may only hender the experience. As far as the youngest age, I would say 17.
