In other words, how long does it take to feel well enough to go back to work or high school (on average)? Thanks!

Not long. I felt better the next day.

it depends, I'm 17, I had mine taken out on a Friday, felt fine Saturday, but Sunday it caught up with me and all week in school I was miserable, the pain continued to flare up. But it depends how badly the teeth are impacted as well.

Well many people have different healing rates. If you follow doctors instructions there is no reason that within 48 hours you should feel well enough for most anything. No straws , Do not smoke keep the wound area clean.

I had mine out and went shopping right after the appointment. If you are having a general anesthetic, you will be fine the next day, but if you just get a needle to freeze the gum, you are ok immediately.

i just had mine taken out in september and it took me about a week to get back to normal but like someone said it depends on 1 what your age is and 2 how impacted were they mine were very impacted but the doc should tell u if u dont have dissolving stitches
