Yes absolutely. Religious extremists, regardless of what dogma they identify with, are dangerous to us all.

Absolutely. I live in Australia and the same sort of thing is happening, not to the same extent as the US but it's happening alright, and it's a scary thought. The religious right have dangerous influence over the government and even some media corporations and businessess (Gloria Jeans, for example). The scary thing is that they use religion for their own means (getting rich). That's not the path you want a country to go down, is it?

What scares you??? I'd be far more scared by a Hillary Clinton...who has little clue how to be a STRONG leader...
so many liberals take for granted the fact that many terror attacks on our country have been stopped...how scared would you be if everyday you woke and thought.." I better be careful...a suicide bomber might strike today."
WAKE UP....we need scary people like Bush and Huckabee...and if you are scared you're on the wrong side of good.

For science and politics religious fundamentalists do have influence in some places. Muslims are a minority so they are not much of a threat in the West as they are in the Middle East. For physical welfare - no. I don't think the Christian right will physically attack citizens, bomb buildings or subway systems, engage in terrorism, nor will they try to cause harm to the government.

I'm much more worried about extreme Islam myself.
You know, the terrorist acts and countries they control with access to nuclear weapons?
That's a little worse than Mike Huckabee squinting his eyes and talking out loud.

No, they don't. Last time I checked the "religious right" didn't hijack planes and fly them into buildings murdering thousands of people.
Oh, and as to the "fruitloop Mike Huckabee", last time I checked not one of the people that I know on the "religious right" including me want that whack job in office.
But, thanks for the generalization and thank you for taking time out of your busy day of eating corn chips to prove your ignorance to the masses.
