Most Jews do not see Jesus as anything more than a man. There were, virtually, no christians in the earliest form of christianity who believed Jesus to be anything more than a man OR a spiritual guide (and not a real person at all, nor a god). As the faith grew, more people believed more things about Jesus, eventually culminating in the Counsel of Nicea. It was 80+years before anything was written down concerning Jesus the man, much less Jesus the god. Jesus was, at first, just a way to be god-like. Read the gospel of Mark and see how Jesus is referred to, disregard the Passion story, since that was added later. See hoe Paul and early christian leaders reference him.......all of these early christians did not refer to a human being at all, but a spiritual idea at the most.

Hey Katy
Im assuming you believe the Bible, so all I can say is go to God's Word. Forget bout Constantine, read the NT for the truth. John 1, Phil 2:6-11, Heb1, Col1.
Jesus is not the same person as God, he shares His nature, being his Son. Jesus was not a prophet (John 8:50-58) Prophets arent pre-existent.
Hope this helps you! E-mail me for details about Jesus relationship to God. Peace

The question is who is the real God. The ancient book you refered to says a lot about the christian God. Unfortunately for you, this God operates by supernatural means. There are so many things we cannot answer, hence we are still researching through science to find the answers. Without science we are not able to understand how things work. The ancient book tries in its own to try and explain the issues which science cannot. The existance of man shows that a certain creator was involved. Man and wife are involved in bringing a human being in this world. They help in creating a human being. God has put cells in man which are necessarily for him to pass over to his wife for production. The wife also has been given the cells which when combined with the male cells form a human being. This type of production can only be thought out by a creator. God has explained this in real terms and not through supernatural means.

What's wrong with being Jewish?
Maybe Jesus was a great teacher, a very wise man and a prophet, but human like the rest of us and not God or the Son of.
Anyone can convert to Judaism. You don't have to be born a Jew. If you're serious about converting, ask a Rabbi.

You absolutely need to read the Bible.
John Chapter 1
Hebrews Chapter 1
These two chapters, along with numerous other accounts in the New Testament point to the Deity of Christ.
Why did the Priest of Judaism want to kill Jesus? Because He claimed to be God.
In order to be saved a person must say, "Jesus is Lord' or "Jesus is Jehovah".
If you are looking for what the Bible says, then rest assured. It declares Jesus to be God.

Jesus was God manifested in the flesh. The Bible specifically tells us that. There are several examples in the New and Old Testaments alike.

Jesus never existed. He was one in a long line of similar fictional god-men. Visit the sites listed below to learn more.

Did a historical Jesus exist?
http://www.nobeliefs.com/exist.htm
[Excerpt]
ALL CLAIMS OF JESUS DERIVE FROM HEARSAY ACCOUNTS
No one has the slightest physical evidence to support a historical Jesus; no artifacts, dwelling, works of carpentry, or self-written manuscripts. All claims about Jesus derive from writings of other people. There occurs no contemporary Roman record that shows Pontius Pilate executing a man named Jesus. Devastating to historians, there occurs not a single contemporary writing that mentions Jesus. All documents about Jesus got written well after the life of the alleged Jesus from either: unknown authors, people who had never met an earthly Jesus, or from fraudulent, mythical or allegorical writings. Although one can argue that many of these writings come from fraud or interpolations, I will use the information and dates to show that even if these sources did not come from interpolations, they could still not serve as reliable evidence for a historical Jesus, simply because all sources derive from hearsay accounts.
Hearsay means information derived from other people rather than on a witness' own knowledge.
Courts of law do not generally allow hearsay as testimony, and nor does honest modern scholarship. Hearsay provides no proof or good evidence, and therefore, we should dismiss it.

Jesus claims to be God in the Bible itself. There are a few passages that point to the trinity. I suggest you do a study on it.
