The Israelites have been warned to safeguard relatives wide-unfold jobs in 6 days so as that doing such issues replaced into no longer a necessity on the Sabbath. Jesus himself observed that if an animal fell right into a properly, that it does not be breaking the Sabbath to get the animal out. He additionally healed on the Sabbath. So it would be sensible to think of that if those money owed had God's blessing, that if the guy amassing sticks have been in dire straights with the aid of relatives disease, that this might have been neglected. yet he gained the punishment with the aid of fact he had no excuse and replaced into ignoring the sacredness of the day as defined to him in the previous.

No!!!!!! If people who worked on the sabbath had to be stoned to death these days then the world's population would decline drastically. The old testament describes the old covenant between God and men, but since Jesus came to earth and died for our sins God won't strike us dead if we worked on the sabbath.

Rom 9:31-33
31 But Israel, which followed after the law of righteousness, hath not attained to the law of righteousness.
32 Wherefore? Because they sought it not by faith, but as it were by the works of the law. For they stumbled at that stumblingstone;
33 As it is written, Behold, I lay in Sion a stumblingstone and rock of offence: and whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed.
(KJV)
Keep reading, it is really foolish to stop before you finish the book and make conclusions. Read the rest of the story.
