Guys, why do you let smart nice girls get away? I'm finishing university and have never had a bf. I feel as though they are scared of me, but I'm very friendly and have learned that I should try to talk to them as well, so I'm improving on that, but it doesn't seem to make much of a difference.
I believe guys have had crushes on me just based on their demeanor.. they don't look me in the eyes, seem really nervous, etc. but this actually hurts me feelings b/c I always end up alone studying in the library or just waiting to go home where I can see my friends from home...
What am I doing wrong? :(

Maybe you're a little too intense and don't give other people space to breathe and move and feel comfortable around you. If you're as beautiful and smart as you say, then my guess would be that they just don't find a place to fit in with you. Of course I've never met you, so I'm just throwing out an idea for you to look at. Maybe make a point of being calm, not talking too much, listening to the other person.

Chances are you're doing nothing wrong. Most males have a desire for a "trophy" girlfriend or wife, and that is because many of us are extremely shallow. Most males do not think long term as far as women are concerned. Many of us pursue the "trophy" and then later we realize that the "trophy" is only gold plated. There is something absolutely beautiful about a lady who actually has more than a single digit I.Q. Don't give up!!!!!

guys always like the stupid flirt because it is quick and fun. The big part is easy to get along with. A guy usually needs to feel like he can talk to you, or that he is a good friend of yours before he will date you.
Being nice doesn't always solve everything, either. Teasing leads to easy communication and affection. Try being really open (not embarassingly though), and give them a light jab every once in a while.

A few quick checks might help:
Do you look great ? No one gives a damn for smartness ..looks matter ( at least initially )
Are you self centered ? yes we all are..but are you making it obvious ..talk about others rather than abt what others think of you . Get the difference ? Thats genuine interest in others
Point 3. Think of the universe . Its so full of beauty ..absorb yourself in something higher ..love your sports ..and love your work ..things gotto fall in place ...

guys are helpless, u know that by now! don't read too much into it. i'll bet there's nothing wrong with you. just act yourself, (smart, confident, whatever it is that u do) and u'll meet someone. maybe u just need to take yourself a little more out of your comfort zone. u know, ask a guy out or something. other than that u're good.

cuz most guys are stupid and scared of commitement.they want some stupid slut who just wants to get naked and have sex all night and day.they dont realize that true love feels better than any orgasm they could ever wish for or dream of.
