OK. So my sister is in high school, and I guess now a days for girls to fit in they seem to want to degrade themselves by acting like a total skanks. I dont know, i guess its just the cool thing to do. So she acts really skankish around the house and with her friends. I really dont like it, and Im not sure I know how to deal with something like this. I was her age before, and I know what guys wanted when they were in high school. LOL, they all want the same thing at my age too (20), but when that thing is your baby sister, then it becomes an issue. I could go beat the crap out of her little "boy friends" but that just looks bad on my part. So what should I do??

"Sis your a whore" it's that simple. I'm glad your concerned about your sister a lot of people for some reason think that looking like a skank is cute and it pisses me off. Maybe if you express your disappointment she'll get the message and stop it. Maybe talk to your parents are they okay with her behavior if so you might cause problems.

well if it were me i would do one of 2 things.. i would either do the whole mocking thing where you start to act just like her when ur around her and see if she picks up on it.. so when you guys are together act just as skanky as she does.. and when she starts to notice.. shell be able to see how bad she looks and that could be a good reality check for her.. or i would straight out tell her that she needs to slow down and needs to stop acting like a whore.. b/c one time she is gunna think she has the right guy and all he is gunna want is sex and she is gunna be heartbroken.. and in high school especially once you have a reputation its hard to come back from that.. so when she gets tired of being that way.. they arent gunna think any different of her and that definitely isnt something she wants... then just scare her with stories about getting pregnant and getting diseases and all that.. idk it sounds kind of cheesy but you are her big sister and i think she will listen more than you think b/c even if she just gets mad and shrugs it off itll stay in the back of her mind and the next time she gets to how she was she'll think about what you said to her..

You need to sit her down and tell her how you feel. If she looks up to you at all as her big brother, then how you feel about her should mean something to her. Tell her that you love her and seeing her wearing all the trashy clothes and walking around in the skimpy clothes is really unbecoming and that she is really a pretty girl and you wish she would act more like the girl you know she really is.

Calling people mean names is not the best way to make friends with them.
Be more of a cool role model. If you want her to be a good person, then be a good person yourself, and invite her to join you in things you do, again and again. Instead of arguing with her, calling her names and saying she is wrong, offer encouragement when she does happen to do something right. don't go overboard though. Be real. Making accusations is the best way to make enemies.

Tell her to respect herself and her body and that a good boyfriend will expect that out of her. Guys that like the provactiveness are probably not worth dating...She is a kid and she will need to experience for herself a lot of things. She probably just likes that attention she gets. Make sure she knows that guys dont like her for that...they only want her body for that. Tell her to look for someone that wants more...thus to not act that way. Some flirting/sexual exploration is okay for teenager....make sure she has limits.

You don't tell her that..it'll just make her mad. Sit her down and actually talk to her about the way she is acting..and let her know that it's not a way to act. Have a heart to heart..and maybe see things from her perspective. Not all girls act like total skanks....let her know that people will respect her more if she respects herself and her body.

No she is your sister and you don't call her anything! You love her and accept her no matter what, she would do the same for you. Just talk to her without being to criticizing and hurtful let her know you are concerned and want her to know what she is doing is not right, love covereth all sins.

TELL HER please god tell her what she is doing to herself. let her know if she is in fact screwing guys that her p*ssy is going to get stretched out and than she will be loose and her insides will fall out!!! well everything but that last part. tell her the value of a reputation, and that like 2-5 years from now when all her "friends" are turned out and getting medicine for that mystery rash she will be glad you did tell her. start by letting her know she is selling herself short. talk to your parents tell them you think she should do some babysitting and diaper changeing so she knows what she will have to do if she gets pregnant. yeah TELL HER

You could start by having a little discussion with the parents.
You could also take her to Planned Parenthood for their sex education course (STDs, birth control, etc.).
You could impugn her taste in clothing and friends (skanky).

awww.. lol. yea i see those kinda girls all the time at school. anyways, just talk to her about it.. tell her how its ruining her reputation, its not cool even though she may think it is, and say exactly what you said on here. in the long run, she'd appreciate it! good luck!! :)
