#1: My Dog. Lower than average snapshot.
#2: Lake. Really quite boring and needs a different angle. The content and composition is 'standard beginner'.
#3: Lake Again. No. Even more 'standard beginner'
#4: Bee. Seen this bee-on-flower macro shot millions of times and, here, focus is critical and it is not present. Again, angle and composition are lacking in creativity.

There - I have been honest and blunt with you.
If you have to present a portfolio to qualify as a student, I would not show these four. Do something else fast.
If you are starting from scratch on a photography course, then these will be a basis for learning from but that's about it.
Good luck.
As far as a career in photography is concerned, think long and hard. The best chances come to those with evident talent and, even then, it is far from easy. It is not as glamorous as might appear from the other side of the fence.
Again, good luck. I wish you well.

Photography does not pay the bills.... unless you make it BIG. It's like having a career as an actor.

I would've majored in photography, but I knew that once I take courses in it, it won't be my hobby anymore. I won't love it anymore...

You've gotta be realistic. Finding a real career as a photographer is not easy. And it doesn't pay well.

Statistics show that for a photographer in 2002 the average annual salary was $24,040. The lowest 10% earned less than $14,640, the middle 50% between $17,740 and $34,910 while the highest 10% earned upwards of $49,920. For a photographer employed by a newspaper or periodical the average annual salary was $31,460, while in other professional and scientific services the average was $21,860. http://www.adigitaldreamer.com/articles/photography-salary.htm

I don't think you could, because 4 photos which you have taken are not Professional,(1) taking a dog sleeping ,you must using vertical angle which wasn't horizontal,(2) you must wait for boat rolling along a Lade/river,(3) water should be clear and make reflection of the trees or using Circular Polarizing Filter,(4) get closer to a Bee and make flower a bit blur.

The last and the first is not so great. Another things is , taking on photography isn't just about creativity, is something about everything as well. Go into it if you're willing to work hard.
