Should I get my boyfriend a claddagh ring for xmas?

Symbolism-- The Claddagh's distinctive design features two hands clasping a heart, and usually surmounted by a crown. The elements of this symbol are often said to correspond to the qualities of love (the heart), friendship (the hands), and loyalty (the crown). The expression which was associated with these symbols in the giving of the ring was: "Let love and friendship reign."

Yes he will wear it and a wii is too expensive. He's in his 20s.

One main thing you need to think about. Is this something he'd actually wear? Most guys I've dated do NOT wear jewelry of any kind. The only rings they would ever wear is a wedding band.
