My male friend I tell everything. I talk about anything and everything with him and he listens. He talks about his past bad relationship with me a couple of times too. I am not trying to hook up with him and we hang out with each other alot lately. He keeps bringing up my coworker which I had told him I like flirting with. This is the second coworker that he tries to embarrass me in front of and it pisses me off. Why can't he just be my boy. He calls me about 10 mins ago and brings him up, yet in another conversation today. While on the phone, some friends came by and all the sudden he had to go. He is being a jerk now. I know he is a flirt with all kinds of women and I don't get insulted if I see him or he talks about them. What the hell is his problem???? We are just friends and nothing else so why should he act out an embarrass me in front ppl just b/c he being a jealous jerk? He claims he doesn't like me like that and I don 't like him that way either. WTH?

Have you ever had a best friend that was a female? Did you guys EVER hug, wrestle (horse play, just horse play), sit next to each other, talk about relationships, sex, and of course possiblilities for relationships in the future? Well now what do you do with a male best friend? Do you hug? Do you wrestle? Do you sit right next to each other taling about past relationships, future relationships, and sex?

I'm more then sure, if you look deep enough, you'll see that no matter what relationship between same-sex and different sex WILL BE DIFFERENT!!! No way around that and its EXTREMELY hard to handle, espacially because of our culture. See males and males/ females and females relationships you can talk about sex, you can put hands on each other without it being "sex", and you can pretty much sit bare naked and not worry about anything, BUT when its a different sex relaitonship things get harder, because of what you COULD do for each other. So you have to have grounds about dealing with that or werid crap like this happens, its just the nature of it. Talk it thru, or watch as what you "don't talk about" drives a stake into the relationships. He loves you, he doesn't know how to, and neither of you is talking about it, so expect WERID behavior. You could just end it, but the fact is you love him, to one degree or another....
