He's not what you think he is, we've been friends scince I was 14 and he was 19, started dating 1 month befor I turned 15 I will be 16 before the baby is born, it was our first time having sex and now I'm pregnat, I was just asking because, also heard that if my mother doesnt press charges than he cant go to jail unless she does,! Does anyone else know anything else about that! If you are going to tell me what a bad mother I have, or that my BF should go to jail please dont, I got on here to get helpful adice, not the kind that you dont know anything about! THat has nothing to do with the question I aksed =)

And ofcourse he's going to be there! He did not make me have sex, actually it was my idea, he waited until I was ready, he has a job, I work with my mother, we both have money, i just want to know about the jail thing, everything else has been taken care of!!!!!

Yep he will go to jail if the police get involved. You are underaged and your pregnant so its obvious you two had sex which is why he would go to jail. Its too late to tell you to stop dating this guy because he is too old for you at the moment, but since you are carrying his child you need him in your life. DONT rush things and get married. If you two truly love each other wait until you are at least 18. Congrats on the baby and I hope everything works out.

I know you're getting a lot of negative answers right now, so I don't think you need another one.
Look, there's been a lot of girls who have gone through this, and nobody has found out. But right now, him going to jail because of "rape" is only one of your conserns. Will he stay by your side and your baby's side? Where are you going to liive? There are a lot of other things you should be worring about. This is one of the times where you should be thinking more of yourself than your boyfriend. It's not selfish to think more about you and your child, than your 20 yr. old boyfriend.

Yes. Statutory rape. A five year difference is a lot, and no offense it is a little odd that you would want to date someone five years older than you. Four of three years wouldn't be that much, but five is a lot. He must be in college and graduated atleast two years ago. You two are in complete different stages of life and he should get to know more people his age.

Yes he could. Statutory rape, because you're not of legal age of consent yet.
My friend is on probation for something like that, and it ruined his reputation and he's suffering now because of it. Granted, my friend is only on probation for a year, but his credibility will never be fully restored. You and your family don't have to press charges, he can still get arrested and have to deal with the consequences.

If the age of consent where you live is higher than 15, then yes, he'll go to jail for statutory rape.
