The time it becomes to late is the second of your death on Earth.
There are people that do start to believe in God later on in their lives. It's not unheard of.
Going to church will help you, tremendously, with not only learning about the Lord, but also help you build a relationship with Him and adopt you into the Christian family of the Church. All those in the Congregation become your Brothers and Sisters when you are saved, as well as all Christians outside the church.
Also; when you do decide on a church, and to be saved, don't forget to join a Sunday School Class or a Bible Study Class, to help you further. There's a lot to learn, but take your time and don't be afraid to ask questions.

It is never too late to believe in God or go to church. You need to get a Bible and start reading it. You need to know that the Bible needs to be preached. There are too many churches out there that don't preach Jesus any more. God can forgive anyone who will call out to Him. The Holy Spirit is the one calling to you. Listen to Him, He will help you come to the Lord. Romans 3:23 For ALL have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; John 3:16 For God so loved the world, the He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in Him should not perish, but have everlasting life. Romans 6:23 For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life though Jesus Christ our Lord. Just tell Jesus that you are a sinner, and that you want Him to come into your heart and to cleanse you from sin. Thank Him for dieing on the cross. You will become a Christian if you believe. It is just that simple. People try to make it out to be harder than it is. God bless you as you seek the truth.

Many, many people come to faith later in life. There is absolutely nothing wrong with that ! In fact, people like you often make the best believers because you have come to your belief out of your own seeking of the truth, and not just because you "grew up that way." I hope you will continue to pursue a relationship with God. It can really change your life for the better !
OH, and by the way....since you said you're thinking about going to church....if you go to a church and don't like it, I strongly suggest that you keep trying different ones. There are HUGE differences from one church to another. Some will be wonderful, happy places (like the one I go to) but there are some out there that will potentially turn you off of faith. Don't give up if the first one (or two or three) turn out not to be your cup of tea.

Its never too late as long as you feel the desire. If you are breathing that's all that counts. Please find a church that preaches the TRUTH immediately. I think this is wonderful! I'm very happy for you. Its never, ever wrong to believe in God. Its the best choice you will ever make. You will never be happier, I promise.

It is never to late to start going to church. God doesn't care how old you are. You can come to him at any age. Excepting God as your personal savior and knowing that he died for yours and everyone else's sins is the greatest gift of all. The main thing is that believing in God is not something to take lightly. You need to come to him surrendering your life to him. If you have questions please ask I am hear to help.

There is no requirement to go to church in order to believe in God. Perhaps the idea of church seems appealing because you are feeling down and it would be good to be around people?

there is nothing wrong with it at all. the fact is, God is probably dealing with you in your spirit to get you to believe in him. Go to a church you feel led to go to. It is only too late after you are dead. Email me and we will talk about it in more detail.

God does not view your lifespan the same way you do. To Him, it is a single point, and you either accept or reject Him. Whether you did it when you were young, or you give a death bed confession of faith is irrelevant.
If you feel the pull of the Holy Spirit speaking to your heart to ask forgiveness from God and ask that He be your Lord and Savior, do it! God bless : ).

As long as there is breath in body there is time for change- as for believing the thief beside Jesus kind of waited to the last minute, proving it's never too late, for his followers.

Beca A...It isn't to late for you or anyone else reading this. It is the perfect time to begin to go to believe in God and His Son Jesus. All you need to do is confess and believe. The scriptures say 'If you will confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and believe in your heart that God has raised him from the dead, you will be saved.'
I will be praying for you. :)
