I just got a PS3 and I was wondering if there was anything that I need to know. I don't got it hooked up yet but I'm sure it's awesome. What about the graphics on PS3 games?

The PS3's graphics are awesome. If you want to see games that have the best graphics, I recommend PS3 exclusives.
The reason why I have only purchased PS3 exclusives is because I know that they have the best graphics and physics. I have Uncharted Drakes Fortune, and the graphics in that game are just awesome. I also have heard that the new Rachet and Clank game has picture perfect graphics as well.
But literally every PS3 exclusive game is going to have the best graphics though. Eventually maybe multiplatform games will catch up and will look just as good as the PS3 exclusives.

If you have a hdtv and hdmi cable download some game demos like PS3 exclusives from teh PSN store for free. Get Uncharted drakes fortune, ratchet and clanks FTOD. THe graphics will blow your mind. Games produced multiplatform by EA games usually have Wii graphics and so do games based on movies that are multiplatform. Call of Duty and Assassin's creed are good multiplatform games where the producers actually cared enough to use some of the ps3 power instead of just producing one game for all systems.
Once you update the ps3 you will be able to upscale regular ps2 games and dvd movies to hd quality
