Is the orange box for the ps3 worth a "buy" or a "rent". Does it have replay value other than team fortress 2? What are it's pros and cons? I'm thinking about buying it for christmas. Should I? thanks.

To be honest - it's a great game. The portal is a good puzzle, BUT it's a game that runs on an old Half Life 2 engine. Even old PCs can run it. If you're HL fan - get it for PS, if not - just get a cheap PC version. I love Half Life series, but, imho, the 1st HL is the best, despite it's really old graphics.

I would try renting it first because I've heard that although the game is cool, the ps3 version has some very serious lag issues which can make it very frustrating to play, especially team fortress 2. This is because the company that made the original game for the pc decided to hire another company to port the game onto the ps3's system which they didn't do for the 360 version. This is why the game doesn't run as smoothly. I guess the pros would be the fact that for $60 you are getting 5 games which is still one hell of a deal, with the cons being the framerate issue.
