Hahaha and again ha, you are so very funny do you know that. My mom did that once I converted grew up and returned to Catholicism. I still cant seem to get rid of you guys, you don't seem to take a hint. These crazies are even trying to get her remarried because according to some strange thing she can't enter heaven without a man. Guess what she may be divorced in the eyes of the law but according to catholic faith she is still married. She has never so much as kissed another man since her divorce and that is going on 35 Years. I'd rather you just crawl back under the rock you came from under. Ok some people never move on but that's none of anyone else's business.

I have taken the discussions. They like you to sit down w/ them. Not be up running around, cleaning the house. I'm not too sure they'd be very comfortable @ all w/ a lady in a bathrobe. But they'll come back if you'll have them, its their job. Personally, I don't the male missionaries should be required to go into a house w/ a woman home alone. That goes in the reverse for missionary sisters as well. Their integrity could be questioned. Not to mention they would probably be uncomfortable.

To answer your question there isn't anything wrong with a single woman inviting the Mormon missionaries into her home--to teach the Gospel lessons. When they arrive, there is usually another elder with them for they are forbidden to enter a home having only a woman present.

I hardly think it is because you are a single woman.
Many missionaries go to people's houses to teach them about the bible. If all they wanted was a female relationship they would be going to a bar.
They keep coming back because they think you are listening and becoming religious.
some people get the wrong idea about people in religion that comes to people's homes. If they wanted to find someone to sleep with they would go to bars where the lights are down low and music and drinking.
They go there to teach people about the bible, nothing more.

Before becoming one of Jehovah's Witnesses, I studied with the Mormons. Elders Roof (sp) and ??? can't remember the others name. They came over at least once a week and were perfect gentlemen. They even tried to help me stop smoking.
It could've been dangerous though- for them and for me. People can say whatever they want and sully anothers reputation.
Jehovah's Witnesses tend to send women to study with other women and men to study with men. It's just safer that way.

That's interesting. When the missionaries came over one time they would only talk to me from outside b/c I was home alone w/o a male around.
But I guess if yours like to drop by then that's cool.

This is not a real question, but I will answer.
Male missionaries are not allowed in the home with a single female unless there is another man there.

Don't forget your mission, you are in trusted with the authority to preach the Good News, if heretics are in error, listen to their point of view but gentle let them know the truth about the faith.

.....except it's against mission rules for missionaries to visit single women. They would send the sister missionaries.
