I have been seeing this guy for 3 months now.We get along great,there are some complications in the relationship.I know he loves me and cares about me,he said last night that this is a chapter in his his life,what does that mean??? PLEASE BE KIND....

that chapter in his life probably means that he might move on and that he doesnt feel secure about what's going on between the both of u.

I agree with ScSpec on this one. It sounds as if he's had a lot of problems in love and he considers this a mere chapter in his life like he's not ready to commit or something.

It sounds as if he considers the relationship temporary, and he expects it to end and he will "turn the page" and begin a new chapter in his life.

"a chapter in his life" sounds like "this is a phase im going through and i'll get over it"

I think he means it in a nice way.
He means that you and him a starting a relationship that will mean a lot , and something he will remember.
