RD, I AM a Christian and the reason I posted the question is that there are countless examples of many people who claim to be Christians that make comments that one can only derive that they DO think they are the same. Take a look at some of the answers here if you need any proof.

I must thank all you truly ignorant people who posted comments that removed any doubt that too many of you THINK you know what you are talking about. Simply because neither follows the same ideology as YOU does NOT by definition make them the same.

Ok I’ll bite one the “well our religion teaches that they are” comments
I can say that even though members of some other religions may not share the same ideology as Christians, they DO have faith in their own religion ( pardon me for lumping all of you non-Christians in the same barrel on this one, no offense is intended) . I’ll also add non-Christians do not share the same core beliefs as Atheists. Atheists have no religion and share no kin ship to matters of spirituality and/or religion. So again I say they are not the same.

Wait a second....

Are you generalizing a generalization!

that's ingeniously seditious!

Well, you are trying to use the royal 'you' which would not work here.

I am one of Jehovah's witnesses and I know definitely that they are not the same. Please remember, when you cite Wikipedia articles, they are written and submitted by various individuals who may or may not know about which they write.

They may also have some sort of 'agenda' and will write under one name, go in and take the quote, citing that 'authority' as canonical. I see articles like that all over about witnesses.

I can not definitively speak for others, but most of the pastors, priests, nuns, rabbis and bishops i have known realize and accept that fact, ie, all atheists are non-Christian, but NOT all non-christians are atheists.

Would you like a bible study? It may help you understand what other religions and groups believe.

We offer them free of cost to you .

I don't assume non-Christians and atheists are the same. An atheist has no belief in God. A non-Christian can have a belief in a god, more than one god, a higher power of some kind.

Excuse me. Rev Einstein. If you see us as one thing because of one commonality then you shouldnt be a Reverand. Thats generalising, you of all people should no that its wrong.

But i agree, its drives me CRAZY. Its not just christianity that we don't believe in. Its every religion. Anything that places faith in some higher power, just so insecure people feel like they have a purpose in life.

I know they are different in their claims but, as far as God is concerned they are the same. Outside of Christ is outside regardless of the label. The person void of the Spirit of Christ does not belong to Him because if Jesus does not see His Spirit in you when you stand before Him at the judgment it does not matter what you call yourself, He will say depart from me.

you superb and not superb intemediatary structures would or would possibly no longer have an impact. first occasion peacocks the colors, outragous tails for sure are a hinderance. however the ladies folk like it. because of the fact of sexual selection the different of what would look the logical selection is what turns into dominant. so the thought that rudementary structers are inhibitory for this reason illogical is precisely the element 2nd occasion wings of grasshopper. from my zoology proffessor he pronounced the final thought to this point is the wings all began as protusions of annoying shell and grew. the longer larger proturions helped shield the leg and air ducts. yet over the years as those grew extra effective for extra protection ultimately they grew to alter into able to waft. properly now the lighter thinner allowed extra gliding. later to conform into wings. so its no longer continually an instantaneous step. sometimes it ought to pass with the aid of many many methods no longer understood or considered. there are maximum of components for christianity the concepts that its all a huge *** bounce of religion is if truth be told propeganda. the biggest concern i think of for some human beings is the 7 day tale. properly look back on church heritage and the early jewish instructors (the adult men who all started this entire ingredient) didnt instruct it became into literal. Pope Augustine (i beieve it became into him honesty one pope starts to mixture in with yet another, i didnt carry my books with me) wrote it became into stupid to think of it as litteral. the frenzy to instruct this and each thing interior the bible as a hundred% literal take all of it or no longer something got here while martin luthor broke off frm the church. numerous the bible that folk have contridictions with are purely as surely defined. yet few do the google seek for 'bible contridictions defined'... i do accept as true with you that some on the two aspects stick to thier concepts blindly and could on no account settle for finding at something that ought to challange thier ideals. a lot of human beings do no longer care approximately getting to grasp and starting to be purely in proving to everybody else why they are correct... its the macho highschool penis waving. talkin out your butt, we see this everyywhere no longer in basic terms right here. im confident yall have somebody at artwork who purely talkes and clearly has no thought of validity. hence many circumstances what you spot listed under at the instant are not actual solutions purely dirt and slogans thrown around.

Any one that dose not live for GOD,JESUS is no better off than any other persons living in sin un less you are born again saved by the grace of GOD you are going to die in your sins and receive the same punishment a sinner is a sinner no matter what his earthly name is called so neither way will get you to GODS kingdom. this can only be done through the son Of GOD.

I am not a Christian.

I am not an atheist.

Christians constantly refer to me as an atheist. I just figure it is another example of narrow minded ignorance.

Thanks to Einsten for an excellent example of what I just said.

of course they aren't. Non-christians can have a different belief system. Atheists, don't believe in a god.

well we are and we arent.

according to them we are the same in the sense that we're screwed for not accepting Jesus.

but we're different in the sense that some of us just dont believe in anything at all.
