because i have like short hair and no guy has ever asked me out...is that a problem?

Nah. Give it time. I am a guy and have never consciously made any decision based on a girl's hair...
Subconsciously? Who knows? People tend to ask out who they are attracted to.... Maybe short hair does it for less guys.

Well not all guys like short hair - that's just life.
And maybe it tells some guys that you don't care what they like - you wear your hair the way *you* like it. And perhaps that kind of wilful independence could be seen as threatening! They would prefer that you spend your time working out how you can be more attractive to them...
Of course, you don't want those kind of guys anyway.
For the record, I have always been a fan of short hair, and I'm sure lots of other guys are too. Maybe you are just a bit young and are only around guys who haven't yet worked out what is important in a woman.

I have short hair, and guys definitely don't think I am gay (after having long hair for most of my life I thought that they would... but actually I get more notice with it short)
But, I think that girls that have a mullet have a REALLY bad hair cut. :op

Mine's short, and guys ask me out. I'm a petite gal though, so short hair tends to fit me better. I used to have it down to my waist, and it's naturally brown black.
