i will be sat downstairs with mum and we wont be doin anything apart from watchin tv and then as soon as i jump on the playstation 2 she has a ton of jobs for me to do

Your Mom thinks it's a waste of time when you are playing with your playstation2, so as soon as she sees you go to use it she will find somthing for you to do to take your mind off the games you play. Why don't you ask her if it bothers her when you are using the Playstation, and if she says yes, than make time to help her around the House, and After you do that I am sure she won't bother you again.

I WOULD JUST ASK HER WHY SHE WAITS UNTIL YOU WANT TO PLAY ON YOUR PLAYSTATION . I MEAN IF SHE THINKS IT IS OK FOR YOU TO WATCH TV WITH HER AND THEN ALL OF A SUDDEN SHE WANTS YOU TO DO JOBS WHEN YOU GO ON YOUR PLAYSTATION I WOULD JUST ASK HER .OR NEXT TIME BEFORE YOU WATCH TV WITH HER LET HER KNOW YOU ARE PLAYING ON THE PLAYSTATION AFTER YOU WATCH TV SO IF SHE HAS ANY JOBS FOR YOU TO TELL YOU NOW AND NOT TO WAIT UNTIL YOU LIKE TO GO ON YOUR PS.
