Not getting many people answering the question you asked, are you? Go figure.
The works of Flavius Josephus do mention Jesus, but say nothing about a resurrection. They do, however, express the author's hesitance to call Jesus a man...I have found no other works of the period to corroborate the the stories of the New Testament. I eagerly await their discovery, and I suspect that when they're needed, the documents will surface. Personally, I would dearly love to see a document describing Jesus' resurrection in detail that was written AT THE TIME IT HAPPENED, and not 50-150 years after the fact.

I actually have been watching a series called "faith lessons". Its from Ray Vander Laan. He is a Historian who goes through the bible and shows the exact areas where everything happened, on a historical level as well. So he reads the story out of the bible, then he explains what happened in history.
One I just saw was talking about a place that was destroyed by the Assyrian army. Well, 10 tribes of Israel that is. The bible says it, history says it in Israel and Assyria. The King that led the campain had his entire army destroyed by an angel of God. The Assyrian Kings accounts even says this.
Basically it says he destroyed all the tribes, except one, killed them in brutal ways, then he almost got to Jerusalem, then went home. It went something like, "I shut Jerusalem up like a bird in a cage, then I came home." Of course he wouldn't say that he was destroyed completly. So he just writes he locked him up, then went home. And shortly after his sons kill him, and one takes his place.
Everything in the bible is right along with history. Theres 7 dvds worth of this video series, which was done in the 1990's.
Another thing to do if you don't want to buy the videos, is to borrow books from the library on these issues. Search for a book that follows history and points out the stories in the bible. You will be surprised at how historically accurate the bible is.

The Bible IS a valid and accepted historical document. That isnt an opinion, but a FACT. There were also many eye witness accounts, as well as the first hand testimonies of those in whom He takes up residence today.

all the evidence of this account is in the bible, if it were documented any where else every one would be saved ,yes?
but let me ask you a question , you seem to know some bible so follow along with what I'm saying, before Jesus Died there was a place in the temple called the holly of Holly's , after the death of Jesus the Vail rent from top to bottom and was no more , now if you have read about the holly of Holly's , only the high priest was able to go into it one time a year and if he was not clean he would die, they tied a rope on him to drag him back out if he did not come out,
what happened to this place, it no longer exists after the death of Jesus, and this is documented in history , Jesus is the high priest and took the offering of his blood to heaven for us , a one time offering for all sin, read about it and make your own mind up about it, it seems only common sense to me

Mat 22:28 Therefore in the resurrection whose wife shall she be of the seven? for they all had her.
Mat 22:30 For in the resurrection they neither marry, nor are given in marriage, but are as the angels of God in heaven.

Mat 27:53 And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many.
Joh 11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.

Act 2:31 He seeing this before spake of the resurrection of Christ, that his soul was not left in hell, neither his flesh did see corruption.
Act 4:2 Being grieved that they taught the people, and preached through Jesus the resurrection from the dead.
Act 4:33 And with great power gave the apostles witness of the resurrection of the Lord Jesus: and great grace was upon them all.
Act 24:21 Except it be for this one voice, that I cried standing among them, Touching the resurrection of the dead I am called in question by you this day.
Rom 1:4 And declared to be the Son of God with power, according to the spirit of holiness, by the resurrection from the dead:
1Co 15:13 But if there be no resurrection of the dead, then is Christ not risen:

how many witnesses do u need the old testiment told of his birth death and resurection and when he came they searched for him when born to destroy him, they denied the miricles he did even though they saw it befor thier very eyes and crucified him for saying that he was the the son of god! now i tell u the truth that because of my faith as a boy god caused me to faint or fall asleep and i was being pulled up into the sky instantly and the clouds seem to surround me and somthing was coming from out of the clouds at a high rate of speed and befor i knew it thier was a man sitting in a cloud as if it were his throne dressed in the purest white robe i had ever seen with sandles on his feet and a golden crown round his shoulder length hair and beard about his face, holding in one hand a golden sceptor and a sickle in the other! and then i was filled instantly by a joy and happiness that i have never expierienced in my whole life! i am now 33 and have found my dream or vision that was so real in rev;14:14! also archiologist have descovered the city of jericho and was found exactly how GOD told the isrealites to leave it! imagine that!

The resurrection is real.
A man named joseph smith saw the reseructed lord, in the year 1820 and also in his mission he preformed on earth, saw many other ressurected beings, and the best part, was he introduced his angles, to his friends. Many since 1820 and joseph smith have wittnessed first hand many ressurected beings.
Each of us will have the oppertiunity to be ressurrected.
Our choices on this earth will decide what level of ressuresction we recieve.
