I've learned that there are many seekers in this forum looking for answers from others that they can use to better their understanding of Religion and Spirituality.
I've learned that some of the questions are very thought-provoking and some of the questions are just 'provoking'! In either case, I find the opportunity to observe and to participate humbling and very gratifying.
If there is anything I find most beneficial inside or outside this forum, it is that my fellow inquisitive human beings, who are Brothers and Sisters all, are to be treated with the love and respect due to any family member of the One Who created us all...as we are.
Blessings to all my family....

I didn't realize there were this many depressing people, I really feel bad for some here. This should be a place of encouragement, but instead it seems to just be a place to belittle Christians. Sure, people have questions, but most of it is just being mean. Yahoo should change the name to something else.

I have learned that most people here do not study the bible.
I have learned that everyone thinks their ideas are infallible.
I have learned that their are more atheist and pagans than there are Christians in RS.
I have learned that most people do not have discernment, but will go along with the majority.

Treat some situations gently, and reserve the yelling and shouting for a question that's worth your stress.
On the same note, many questions will be worthy of your stress.

It is like sifting through the rice sacks of ignorance to find the one grain of truth. I don learn things here that are very interesting, but there is more name-calling and finger-pointing than anything else.

that if you make a joke, make sure they KNOW it's a joke- because they might take you seriously and hate you for it... beause it's hard to make you're tone of voice known and let them know when you're being sarcastic...
