Sure.
Several years ago I helped form a country club. Not the golf course sort, but a game preserve. We planted native grasses, cleared woods to restore prairie, planted trees to restore wooded areas along creek beds, eliminated hundreds of feral cats--it's ALWAYS feral cat season, and removed discarded farm equipment.

Yes bettering the environment is very important to me. This is because I grew up on a farm and love the outdoors and nature. There are always going to be natural warming and cooling cycles but we humans have created a very unnatural progression of the warming cycle. The only way to truly better the environment is to reduce your own use of green house producing products and not buy from companies that don't attempt to reduce there carbon footprint.

YES, because we're running out of time.
I'm trying to get diesel generators installed on trucks so they don't have to idle all night to keep the heat on.
I wrote to the New York Times, Times Union Journal, Newsday, Arnold Schwarzenegger, Hillary Clinton, George Bush, the DOT, the Freemasons, the EPA, everyone on my e-mail list, and Howard Stern.

Yes, something has to be done, and it only takes 5-15 minutes a day. I is very easy.
P.S. all of the people that recycle need to know this! WHEN YOU RECYCLE A BOTTLE, TAKE OFF THE LID OR THEY WILL NOT PROCESS IT! they won't process it because it takes too long to take off a lid from every bottle and that time could be spent in reusing several other items.
i know this for a fact, so take off those lids when you recycle

Yes. Behind freedom, survival, and recreation it's my top priority. Personally, I like clean air to breathe and clean water to drink. If that's too much to ask, we're screwed!

No. I minimize energy usage to save money; the environmental benefits (if any) are secondary.
