Try to stay informed about when they have a parole hearing. Even if you can't make a statement at the hearing, you CAN make sure the parole board is aware of your position. You can't actually stop them from doing anything, but they MAY be influenced by your efforts.

I believe you are allowed to speak at the parole hearing if they have prior notice of you attending. Ask Citizen's advice or consult your solicitor to make sure of the procedure and your rights. Best of luck.

You might want to speak to the parole board or prosecutor on this case, if you state your worries they may not release him they may release him with stricter stipulations. i you need to get a restraining order you can do that prior to his release. if you are a victim or witness they are bound by law to notify you of any hearing they have on his case.

sorry, but NO. you cant do jack. you may contact the parole board, and they will take your fears and concerns into account. and then they will release him, having completed his sentence.
and plod wont do anything until AFTER the event takes place.
