IF you start allowing the possibility of there being a higher being which is willing to interact with your life, you will believe in the one whom you feel the closest to.
For me, it never was christian god, despite the fact that I was raised in a very catholic environment (church 50m away, several fanatics in the family).
I was repulsed by it all and I was leaning towards being an atheist, but luckily I came across Gods who actually took active interest in my life and felt the right for me.
Once you find the belief that is right for you, you will know. It feels like coming home after a long day of being lost.
Some people never find it. Some, possibly, don't even have it. That's fine with me. To each their own.

Let's assume just for sake of simplicity that the "Christian God" is the one true object of faith.
My question for Christians is this: which Bible is the true one?
I regularly see people on here who claim the the Old Testament is false. I know people who will tell you that the King James Bible is the authoritative source. (Let's not forget that King James also wrote a book on how to identify witches and demons.) I have also had an argument with a couple of people who claim that Catholics aren't Christians.
So, even if everyone was a "Christian" the world wouldn't really be any different. It would still be a case of a bunch of believers trying to kill everyone else.

Anyone else find it odd that the hard core Christain posters run away from questions like this...why pass up a chance to convert someone....even if it is a small chance.

i don't try to prove God anymore because i realized that my Bible proves that we never will, my Bible says that the way to salvation is narrow and few will find it, so no mater what we do it is not going to change that, therefor we will not prove God exists or that would allow many to find salvation.
