Yes- it's definitely a callous. I have one too. It's from the pen rubbing up against your finger when you write. They can go down if you stop writing for a while, but they usually don't go away. It's nothing to worry about.

It's a callus. Just like all calluses, it'll go down when it's not really used, but then it builds back up. It's from the friction of your pen/pencil. Perfectly normal.

I have one too - it's never gone away. It will go down when I don't write for a while, but it never goes away completely.
