You may want to go to the homework help section, and post this question there.

I won't give any links, but I will tell a personal story. A friend of the family was too scared to get the lump in her breast checked. She decided to take herbs and vitamins instead, hoping her body would heal itself.
The lump did decrease in size. It changed from a lump to skin puckering, and her breast actually started to shrink. She thought the natural vitamins she was taking cured her.
A little less than a year later, she went to her doctor complaining of shoulder pain. She had an MRI, and discovered the cancer spread to her bones, and was destroying her shoulder.
Her doctor told her the breast cancer she ignored probably spread to her lymph nodes, then to her bones.

I don't mean to appear rude, but that's a very stupid question! Of course it depends on the specifics of the individual diagnosis, but untreated cancer USUALLY spreads, and if it remains untreated, most of the time it eventually kills the patient.

Nowadays, breast cancer rarely kills anyone who finds out they have it because they get it TREATED. That's why regular check-ups for all "at-risk" groups for various cancers are common sense!
