I've decided that the risk of hell is too great, and I don't want to be an atheist anymore. But here's the problem: most Christians on here tell me if I don't accept Jesus Christ as my personal savior, I will go to hell. The Muslims say if I don't become a Muslim, I will go to hell.
So who's right?

People will only accept the saving grace of Jesus Christ when they've realized the depth of their transgression of the Law. Without recognition of the Law, what purpose can His amazing grace serve? If you're being serious about your decision that the risk of going to hell is too great for you, then you have to ask yourself if you've transgressed the Law in any form or fashion, and if so, then you need to repent of it and seek forgiveness and grace that Jesus offers freely. IF you are being honest with us (and I pray that you are), then the only answer is that you need to talk this one over with God.
I am a Christian, so obviously, I believe in Christianity. So, of course, my advice would be to accept Jesus Christ.
But, unless He, Himself draws you, mouthing the words will be nothing more than a vain and useless exercise of your gums...
For this reason, and because the stakes are so high, my advice is that you spend some time in prayer and meditation...get to know Jesus, and get to know Islam...
Talk to God about it.
Before you take such an important step, you need to do some reading and thinking...and, of course praying...so that you can make an informed decision.

its very simple. Look at the religion that has the most peace and love. Muslims dont have peace and love, all they have is Jihad and war.
Christ gives peace, christians will do anything to help thrier neighbor, the'll even help there enemy. A christian when slaped is supposed to turn the other cheak. if someone want to sue them for thier shirt, they are supposed to give them their coat as well. Jesus said, dont deny anyone who wants something from you, give to all who ask,turn no one away.
which sounds better to you. God also forgives sins so you wont need to worry about hell as long as you have Christ!

There is no true religion to follow. The guy who invented Islam was obviously dreaming. Anyway. I go to a Catholic high-shcool so obviously i hear Jesus all day. But as far as im concerned if you do the right thing and stay away from the wrong part of life, that is embracing Jesus Christ. Religion is a manipulative device. It can control the society as you have just witnessed. Do not get caught up in it. Believe what you believe is right.

Don't base everything on who says you'll go to hell more.
If you're looking for a religion that suits you, start out with the basics. Look more into what they believe than just hell. Joining a religion simply for avoiding hell isn't all there is to a religion.

Zoroastrianism is proven to be the oldest religion on earth.
So if your just going for oldest, thats it.
It came up with Angels and Demons, and even the ranks of then that Islam and Christianity adopted.

Well who do the Muslims worship? Was he man or God? Did he do miracles? Did he raise the dead? Walk on Water? Heal the deaf, blind and in firmed? Did he die for you so that you might be saved? So What did Allah do? Where is his grave site? Jesus has none. He ascended to heaven to sit at the right side of his father. Where is Allah?

Jesus Christ is the only way to Salvation, He is love, He is Light, He is the Living Water, Accept Jesus Christ and He will show you where He wants you to be....God Bless you I hope you make the right choice, and dont listen to all those who refuse to believe how wonderful God is they are missing out on so much, please confess your sins and ask Jesus Christ in to your heart and into your life, ask him to forgive you of your sins, and tell him how much you need him and want to live with him. muslims say if u dont belive in GOD and the last day, u will go to hell. Quran says good jews and christians and those who believe in the last day and God, will go to heaven (not guaranteed). Now believing in god just doesnt mean beiliving in god. You have to obey his commandments. But as long as u believe in God, thats one positive step towards salvation. Good luck

In the debate of Muslim vs. Christianity:
You will nver find a grave where our Savior is buried, because He arose from the dead, and lives in Heaven.
Not so in Muslim.
Pray to God to reveal Himself to you; pray for faith if you need faith; begin to read the Bible, maybe John first, then Romans.
Seek wise counsel from a good Bible believing friend, or church (churches aren't all bad).
(Many of us will pray for you.)
