I'VE HAD THIS OP FPR PROLAPSED DISC BUT IT HAS'NT WORKED,DIFFERENT PEOPLE KEEP TELL ING ME TO TRY DEEP FREEZE COLD GEL OF DEEP HEAT. i'VE BEEN TOLD ITS NERVE DAMAGE AND THAT THE HEAT WON'T HELP I'VE TRIED NEARLY EVERYTHING AND ADDVICE PLEASE I'M ON 60ML MORPHINE SULPATE TWICE A DAY AND THATS NOT TAKING THE PAIN AWAY. HELP

Oh heavens your well past the heat and ice stage... if the spinal nerve has been damaged you need you see the pain clinic. Epidural injections and acupuncture can be affective at easing the pain as well as new drugs that work on the nerve itself not just the pain and inflammation. Ask your GP to get you to a pain clinic for some relief.

Yep that is how the cookie crumbles. I have a prolapsed disc and they would not even consider surgery, so they have me on Fentanyl Patches which help keep the pain away. Good Luck
