I have 2 children and 1 on the way. The absolute worst pain I've ever been in was when I had nerve pain due to a horrible toothache. No joke. A normal toothache, no big deal but I don't think anything could be worse than nerve pain. ETA: I've never gone through labor without an epidural so I can't compare those 2.

I feel your pain,I had sometooth problems ,just a couple of months ago. If you just can't stand it,you can go to the hospital emergency room. I know it really sucks, that you would have to do that because of the expense, but, they could give you something for the pain & get you started on some antibiotics for your tooth,so you would have a head start on things.. Good Luck!!

Advil... you need Ibuprofen. You might have some swelling in there too. The salt water will help if the water is warm and you do it several times a day... as often as possible. Also try not to touch teeth... bottom jaw with top jaw.

Hope that helps.

We have neourophen (sorry I can't get that spelling right new-ro-fen) here in Australia and it is fantastic. 30 mins and it's gone, literally gone.
If you know any "shady" characters heroin (just a little!!!) will fix you up better than anything else. That's what morphine is.

I think you can go to your local pharmacy and ask someone to see if there is any tylenol with codeine in it...advil migraine usually works the best, and a cold compress on the sore part should do the trick until you can get to the dentist.
