The best lines don't sound like lines. This one works pretty well:
"I've been watching you and trying to come up with a really cool pickup line. But you look like someone who would spot a line when you hear it, so I just decided to come over and introduce myself."

Pick up lines are shallow and shows a lack of originality or spontaneity. Plus most girls have heard them all anyway. The truly powerful pick up line ( if it could be labeled as such) is the confidence within a person to will his intent toward the other. This does not mean to be on a "power trip". What it does mean is, after seeing the person you want to meet, you let your instincts be your guide and your sense of humor be your navigator. Self confidence within its self does not allow for a fear of rejection. Doing it with humor usually will get one to first base,at least. It is my belief that if you have to come up with one of those dumb lines, you are out before you start.

frist off don't exclude girls secoud every pickup line is cheesy thrid don't use pikup lines and just be yourself

The one that usually works for me is, "Hi! My name is _____. What's yours?"
It is simple, to the point, respectful and non-offensive. What follows depends on the woman.
