Does the Chinese New Year affect your animal?

ok so im born on january 14, 1995, and i was wonder if that makes a differance in my chinese animal. anyone got a clue?

yes because the exact of day of CNY changes every year according to the lunar calendar and new year is in gregorian calendar's jan-feb. so people born in those months would usually be one sign ahead if you get what i mean.

like 1995 was Year of Boar but you were born before CNY so you are under the sign of the Dog (which comes before Boar).
