We have been dating for 5 1/2 years now. A couple months ago we got into a fight and he said he would marry me. I think he said it just to get me to take him back. We have talked about it since then its kind of planned out that we'll go to vegas and tie the knot after we get our taxes back in feburary or march. Is it really a done deal if he hasnt bought the ring yet? I dont want to keep bringing it up and nagging him so I dont know what to do. I dont want to bug him into asking me I want him to ask becasue he loves me and wants a life with me. The biggest thing that bugging me now is he's been going out of town for work from monday to friday and I'm left at home without him all week. This is the third year he takes off all week and comes home on the weekends and everytime I've been 100% faithful, I think he has too, but its bugging me cuz I'm staying home and waiting for him like a wife but not with the title or anything.

I think the problem is that he already has a wife -- you! You stay there, wait for him, keep his house, do his laundry, cook his food and meet his bedtime needs. Why should he get married when he has it all right now? Maybe if you were able to live on your own and deprive him of those things he should not have until he marries you, he would feel the need to marry you. You do deserve to be married to him, but if he won't assure you of his intentions, then you need to find a man who will.

i would drop hints here and there but it is Christmas and maybe he wants to surprise u. if u really bugs u ask him about that flight if remember it than maybe but don't be annoying. he problem doesn't know that it bug u so ask him. it works.

Sorry to be blunt, but he's never going to propose to you. He doesn't want to marry you. I'm sorry, but that's really how it is.
