I agree, I would not want to be an animal.. maybe when we die and see things from a universal POV we would enjoy it..

NOOOOOOO...... We either go to heaven or hell..... when we die if we accept christ and actually really truly accept him then, you go to heaven, and if u do and u dont really care then you dont, or if u dont accept him.

I've joked that I wouldn't mind coming back as one of my cats.

The belief in reincarnation is that you move upward if you've learned your lessons in this life and come back to somewhat the same circumstances if you haven't. I don't believe that one would regress to life as an animal. I've met some animals I thought might end up as a human next time around if reincarnation exists though.

No, that would not make any sense. Besides who wants to be reincarnated as an animal??? Definitely not me. Also when you die your flesh is devoured and your energy is thus transferred to various mediums, the earth, and insects. The only thing that could possibly survive is a soul as a soul does not die.

Hindus think so, but I don't. If it's a good thing to become a cow in the next life, what's to keep you from becoming a mcDonald's burger???

I think that the energy that used to be "me" could end up in an animal, yes.

Yes. George W, for example, will come back as a rat, the Popes usually come back as cockroaches, and I just love crunching those critters into another reincarnation!

I believe that it's possible. It would be nice if some of these people that believe in fighting dogs could come back as a dog. Smile....
