My fiance and I began to talk seriously about marriage about a year and a half into our dating relationship (we'd been friends for years before then, though). By the time we started to talk about it, we had weathered a lot in our relationship: family problems, illness, as well as a sudden shift to long distance when I graduated from college and moved back home. We realized, if we were still able to make our relationship work with all we had been through together, we had as good a chance as any of making marriage work too. But also? We were realizing more and more that we didn't want to be apart anymore...that life just felt that much better when we were together.
He's my best friend...who else would I want to spend forever with?

I first new I was ready to get married when I couldn't stand to be away from my man for any longer that a couple days I felt lost when I couldn't talk to him. When I think of all our happy memories my heart swells an I literally feel over whelmed. All his imperfections are just part of who I love not the things that I hate about the man I love.

When I knew that I didn't want to live without my husband. We've been married for five years and through a lot of tough times but I wouldn't change my decision for anything in the world. He is truly my other half.

I knew that we'd been living together for 5 years and it was either get married or break up. I will never live with someone before marriage again. It's not worth it.

(Long before i was married...) it was as if we already were? In our hearts...like two peas in a pod...and, we didn't need a ring or cerimony to "keep us together" we knew we would be...regardless...unity of heart, mind, and purpose...we were in "Love!!!" and stayed this way for a long time...talked things out...got over differances...(argued..) and, was still in "Love!!" Wild Horses couldn't drag us apart! So, what do you do about this? "Get Married! silly!" Be a Family! Have Kids! Do the Future you benn talking about! Put it in action! "Peace!" :)
