Last night, I dreamt that I was in a very narrow, well-lit, hallway with a LOT of people. I mean it's not a place meant for the claustrophobic. Anyway, I was with a friend. We weren't among the crowd yet, but we both decided to see who can get to the front of the hallway, passing all these people first. So, my friend races in front of me and tries to maneuver her way past these people. But after a minute, I lose her...and I find my way at the end of the hallway. I'm happy because I won, but I can't find her. So, I try to maneuver my way back, but I kinda get hot, and start to really realize how narrow the hallway is. So, I'm stuck in the middle of what seems like hundreds of people in one hallway. Then, I woke up. What does this mean?
Details:
1.I wasn't watching myself in the dream. I was myself.
2. The hallway was well-lit and had off-white walls.
3. The people were just normal people...different races and nationalities.

I'm going to guess.. I dream a lot too and some dreams don't mean anything, your's sounds Interesting.

It could mean that your friendship with that person is soon going to end because of other people, sounds like someone might be spreading rumors either about you to your friend, or to your friend about you. All the people indicate that someone is going to come between you two, the narrow halls indicated that the time for your friendship is narrowing down, and the heat that you experianced was the anger in which you accumulate after losing your friend, but this is just a thought from me it could mean many things or nothing but a wierd dream.

well, it could mean something like the following:
The narrow hallway could represent a tight spot in your or your friends life. It being well-lit could mean that the adversity will have a good ending. The people crowding the spot could be pinpoints in your adversity, and the fact that you and your friend want to race through it may say that in the beginning, this is not an experience you want to go through. Your friend starting ahead of you probably means that she wants to be in the lead, and that she is a little impatient to get through whatever it is... and you ending up at the end first means that your patience pulled off the deal. You not being able to find your friend may mean that your friend's choice to plunge in the prob. head first got her stuck, and you turning to go get her sounds like you are good friends... and well, about you being hot in the crowd could mean that you going back into your troubles with your friend is making it a little more difficult... or, well you being hot in the crowd could be... well, natural. :)

Well my first thought is the hallway is between Heaven and Hell. You were both headed to Heaven. You will get there when it is your time, but maybe your friend is doing something that she shouldn't and was headed to Heaven, but because of her actions she may be headed down the wrong road,and by you going back maybe your trying to save her from going that way or maybe the decisions you have been making lately are taking you down the wrong road also.That's my take on it anyway. As a psychologist I can see several aspects here. You enjoy being a winner but not at the cost of losing what is personal to you. You feel as if you could do great things but are intimidated by confrontation from other competitors.
The main thrust here is that you feel alone in a crowd. This is easily overcome. Engage those around you, bring them into your searches.

well if i knew what was going on in your life i would probably have a better idea but i think that you feel like you are in competition with your friend or feel as if you are. the hallway i feel represents the path you walk with this person or the role that they play in your life. and although it is people you see it could be seen as obsticles or problems within that path you follow with this person. and the fact that when you reached the end of the hallway and your friend was nowhere in sight may be related to how when you progress a certain way you may leave friends and family behind... so in short your life is going through changes and you are afraid to let the things you need to leave behind go. but idk xD

Maybe you always find your self wanting to beat your firend at something and when you do you feel that you are actually at a sense of "loss". How is the relationship you have with the friend in your dream? It seems like you win some and lose some.

This might sound crazy but I think it had something to do with wut you ate before you went to sleep, or your sleep pattern was changed due to stress or some other form of disruption. Psychologically these dreams where you feel that you have lost someone or are trapped and can't get out usually occur during the fifteen minutes of R.E.M (rapid eye movement) this is when you are in a really deep sleep. Also during times of poor sleep, your nightmares, or horrors tend to occur more readily. So next time my suggestion is to get a full 10 hours of sleep and don't have any form of sugar or caffine before you go to bed. Happy Dreams!!!!!
