First of all, you are young and need to be careful with adjusting your body's process of development. I've played all season sports since I was your age, and made varsity when I was a freshman- so take it from me. The best thing to do to "get better" is practice, practice, practice! Cheer leading is all about having fun, while working hard, and don't forget to smile! Your supporting your school teams so it's all about having a good attitude! Start off with a basic work out routine that you can do every morning, or on weekends when you don't have practice. Try starting off by running 1 mile a day (endurance) have a sibling, friend or parent go with (for safety reasons) bring timer and water. 20 push ups (upper body), 40 sit ups (abs). Try to cut out any junk food from your diet, it will help reduce fat. Eat lots of veggies & meat (fish, beef jerky) for fiber. Try this website for workouts. And good luck! =) You got it girl

Careful, you don't need to do that to be a good cheerleader. A good one knows the routines and follows what is going on in the game and leads the school in spirit. She doesn't have the flattest abs or thinnest thighs.

I in my view spend plenty of time watching up and looking cheerleading movies. It offers me motivation and trust! Also, If you are not able to tumble correct now, you'll continuously take tumbling categories at your regional fitness center, or ask your instruct to support you're employed on it! Always recall to have trust! Head continuously up, it continuously is helping and will get you areas! Also, train up to you potentially can, continuously try for greater than your satisfactory. You'll do satisfactory :) BEST OF LUCK!!
