Slavery, Fascism, Nazism and Communism still abound. Some specific examples of occurrences of Fascism were ended in the 30s and 40s, but not the ideology.

Any war fought in the name of ending them clearly failed, as such it is not a credible argument in favour of war.

However, War did lead to banking. Europeans, with a need to finance wars developed banks as lending and borrowing institutions. So it could be argued that we have war to thank for our system of commerce.

But it is an unintentional outcome, a little like Kidney Dialysis being a fortuitous outcome of the American Space Program. You can't argue for a Space program by invoking Kidney Dialysis, because there was no intention behind its development - Likewise War and Commerce.

War is always beneficial in the eyes of the victor. I am sure people who believe in Fascism or Communism didn't see things that way, or people in Africa (Angola etc) where war just led from one corrupt President/Leader to another corrupt President/Leader. I am just offering another viewpoint - I am neither fascist, Nazi communists or anything other than an everyday person, - so has war benefited me? yes because I continue to live the kind of life I choose and not one that is chosen for me. However, I do believe war solves nothing in a positive way - there is always too great a cost, and nine times out of ten it is only the corrupt that benefit. An old saying states - you make a million from the birth of a country or the fall of a country.

You can't kill slavery, fascism, Nazism, or communism. They can only destroy the organization of adherents to such ideas.
It's pro-war. And I agree that war is necessary, I just don't think it solves anything of importance--it merely rearranges and reallocates resources and disrupts balances of power.

There was a small group of guy's getting in line at war protest rallies with that sign and others.

Communism only killed 100,000,000 let's give it another chance!

Another had a woman in a Burka tied to a pole. The phrase was "Protect Islamic property rights"

They took pictures of themselves marching with protesters and posted them on a web site. They made it to at least one national news program. I printed the pictures and have them stashed in my files.

Look...war is not good....

But we all understand the lesser of 2 evils..

Like Lindsay Lohan and Britney Spears...

War is the far lesser evil than those you mentioned...along with terrorism...
assuming of course war is used to end those things...not promote 'em.

War is a tool...it can be used for good, or bad...the nazi's used it for bad...we used it for good..

It may not answer your question...but as it's asked, your question may be unanswerable..
