We have an old CRT tv and are thinking of buying either an LCD or a plasma tv. We have two kittens at home that sometimes like to play with images on the screen, so we are concerned that they might scratch any flat screen that we may buy. A friend of mine said I should buy a plasma tv as they have a glass screen that can't be scratched. Is this true? Or do plasma screens also have a soft screen like LCDs?

The plasma screens are glass, and they are tougher than the LCD screens. I suppose the plasmas could scratch if you tried hard enough.

You should buy a LCD and put the TV high enough so they cant scratch it. Even though its cute. ;o)
