well, i like making breakfast in the am but i like to get creative w/ certain things but my bf like things simple. I get tired of eating bacon, eggs, toast . One day i made pancakes w/ bananas in it and he didnt like the bananas in it so i was wondering can i give pancakes like a bananas taste w/out adding bananas in it or anyother type of flavoring in it.

YOU COULD RUN THE BANANAS THROUGH A FOOD PROCESSOR OR USE A BANANA LIQUER, AS THE ALCOHOL WILL COOK OUT OF THE PANCAKE ......

Well, you could always puree the bananas and add them in, that way, there are no chunks...but how about this idea...

Make the batch of plain pancake batter, divide it in half....spice up yours with the bananas, blueberries, whatever you feel like having that day, but leave his plain. Make one of each until the batter is all used up (so one person's doesn't get cold before the other's are done), and there you have it. You've please both sides! :)

Hope this helped a bit.

Does he like blueberries?
Sometimes I use a blueberry pie filling and top my pancakes with it instead of syrup. They're good with bacon on the side, too.

Try a teaspoon of almond extract and top with whipped cream. Delicious!
