Please help looking for a lcd tv 52" for around £1000 £1500?

Look at the Samsung 52" LCDs. In the states, it's selling for $2600 and up. That should be confortably in your price range.

The pictures are just freaking awesome on these sets.

there is a plasma that is made by samsung that is a 50" and its avg price is 1,499.99$ in the states
this is the model number on the unit HP-T5054 by samsung

but you will have a hard time finding a LCD for less then 2,000.00$. my recommandation would be the sony KDL-52W3000 that you might be able to find around 2,200.00
