Hi Paris,

There are many reasons why people feel bad in relationships.

One could be that you depend on the person too much in your relationship for your happiness. When you depend on someone for your happiness, you are always afraid that they are going to change their mind and leave you. You need to be happy first, then you can let another happy person into your life to make things even better.

Another can be when you enter a relationship with someone for the wrong reasons. The worst reason is to be with someone because they have money. The reason it is bad is you become too dependent on them for your money and fear they will change their mind and leave you without a way to take care of yourself financially. They can then treat you poorly knowing you are depending on them for your money. Earn your living first so you do not find yourself being with someone for what they own or possess.

Another is to be with someone on the rebound. If someone hurt you and you go right into another relationship so you do not have to feel your feelings about the person who hurt you.

Another is because you become addicted to the person for your sexual needs. It is always hard when people are just with each other for sex. It may feel good from time to time, but there is always lots of drama too.

If you are with someone because they have character, you like and love them, you will rarely go wrong. Pick people for the good things, not for what good they can do you.

When he acts different around other ppl like his friends than when he acts around me - like he's nice and caring around me and shows me he loves me but doesnt act the same way when he is around his friends which makes me question his love.

When he lies to me about what he is doing cuz he knows i will get mad at that - like going to strip clubs, drugs, hanging out w a girl he just met at work.

When he cheats and denies for 2 yrs even though I heard from all these people and makes me turn against them.

Manipulates u into believing he's right and ur wrong when clearly u know its his fault but makes u feel like u are wrong anyway.

Tries to say everything he does is right and that they're not a big deal when u clearly dont agree with those things and tries to get u to be ok with it or says he'll leave u.

...............much more !

I think the answer is the same for both. I feel bad if I lie and I get hurt when being lied to. People use lies supposedly to protect the ones they love from being hurt but I think once everything is out in the open, the lie is exposed for what it really is...a protection for the liar not the one being lied to. And when it is done so frequently, so nonchalantly, it points to a level of disrespect...or worse...indifference.

Some people read more into a relationship than actually exists and the other person breaks it off unexpectedly. They feel very hurt because they thought the other person cared for them the same way they felt toward that person.

Yeah like the first girls said. You get attached, there is miscommunication or dispute and you it breaks. The reason people get hurt is because they vested a great deal of time and passion into making it work and in the end it was a faliure.

Lies.

The worst "relationship" I was in was I thought I was with him but 5 months into it, he told me he was looking for other women while together. I thought we were just seeing each other and it was very hurtful to find out he wasn't happy with me. As I looked back, I should have seen the "signs" For ex. He would NEVER smile, laugh or hold my hand in public. At home, he barely laughed and I make people laugh very easily (i'm a goofball of fun) but anyways. ya, for sure lies. :(

REJECTION. Everyone wants to feel accepted and when your dumped, cheated on, or people brake your heart, you feel low like a loser. so my answer is Rejection, that hurts the most. It makes you feel not good enough.

like the first person said.you can get so super close to someone and you can be hangin out with that person for 3 years or somethin and you can be hangin out with em avery other day and they dump u just like that!!!its soooo sad.when ur married i think all the divorces are cuased by them just sleeping together.cuz wen u sleep with them u form a bond even if u dont like them.before you get married u need to make sure they r the one!!
