Just so all of you jerks know the first two were accidental. The dog across the street mated with her. I do not sell my puppies for money either. So all of you can shut your pie hole.

I don't see why not. I would consult your vet about that before the surgery.

Also, it would be a healthier alternative for your dog tp be spayed. She is already five years old, and I'm assuming you've bred her since she was two if not before that. It's not good on the dog's health to continuously breed, that close together especially. She could acquire worse health problems other than JUST Kidney Stones later in life. Also, she is at a much, much higher rate to develop ovarian cancer and infections.

EDIT: Accidental or not, it was your fault. Breeding her after that? Ridiculous. You should stick with keeping a stuffed animal.

You are verey lucky that all your dog has so far is kidney stones, by being intact and as old as she is she is a prime canidate for mammary cancer & pyometria.
If you choose to keep her intact the answer is no she should NOT ever be bred again 1) becasue of the kidney issues 2) becasue of her age

I would really recommend for the health of your dog that you do get her spayed.....one big reason is if she were to get pregnant again it could kill her.

I am so sorry to be negative but if you have already put her tiny body through three litters at 5 years of age ( and I am hoping that she wasn't bred the first time until she was at least two)... that means a litter a year. If she can still have puppies (and sadly this surgery should not interfere with that) I am praying that she can't for at least a while! Give that poor dog a break!
Search your soul and do some research...

The results will come at the end. Depends on the size of the kidney stones. Ask your vet that is doing the surgery will effect anything near her bladder. He/She will tell you a more accurate answer than any of us.

Three litters is quite enough for any dog. She is also getting too old to breed. Why are you so concerned about her ability to have more? Do you need the money that badly?

Two accidental litters? How responsible of you. Ok, don't get your dog fixed. Give the dog to a rescue group who will, and get yourself fixed to stop the stupidity!

A Point no one has made- WHY does she have kidney stones? if its something that may pass on to the pups (genetic) it's not moral to leave more unsuspecting puppy byers faced with paying for surgery later. Most breeders I know would not breed her again for this reason.

Do you know by not getting her spayed that she is at a greater risk of getting cancer. If you love your dog please get her spayed so she can live a long and happy life. If you don't believe me ask a vet.

Well that's good, because you don't need to neuter her, you need to spay her. If you were a reputable breeder, you would've known that. Thanks for adding to the problem. I'm sure the animals that will die today, will thank you for killing their friends tomorrow,

If you insist on being selfish and cruel to the dog then why are you asking for advice?
